I was skeptical but I just made this and it definitely tastes just like King Taco's red sauce! As others have said, King Taco is one of the only restaurants I miss from California. My husband doesn't care for their red sauce but he wants to make your recipe for their green sauce. I enjoyed watching you cook and have subscribed! Thanks!

I made this tonight. I've been going to King Taco for over 14 years and this sauce is right on! I even forgot garlic and it was still deliciously close. Thank you for posting this. Just an FYI it says 5 cups water in the description, but you use 4 cups in the video.

Thank you so much! That sauce is gorgeous like the chef. I've been trying to recreate king taco red for years. That's pretty much what I came to, except for the tomato and the lemon. I will try that next time for sure. One thing you might want to try adding is a chicharrón snacking hot sauce like "Valentina" black label or "Tapatio" and just a tiny bit of clavo. That got me pretty close. New to your channel and love it. Keep up the awesome work.

King Taco Salsa 1 bag of chili pods 2 ounces 1 tomato 3 garlic cloves 2 lemons 3 chipotle chili’s 1 slice of red union 2 tbsp of chicken bullion 1 tbsp of salt 1 tbs of garlic powder 1 tbsp of black pepper 3 tbsp of cayenne pepper 5 cups of water
