Not a bad unit and currently a £70 voucher off on Amazon. The do a K8 (£699) which does have a hook/stand on the back and also a larger K10 (£899). The one thing that i can not seem to get confirmed is if they support the newer DOIP and CANDFD which seems to be used on newer cars. There is a worry of it they will be about in the future like Autel/Launch have been

Just watching this video and injection coding came up on the menu. Just to warn everyone looking for a scanner and you need it to do a specific job like coding injectors, contact the manufacturer of the scanner to find out if your vehicle is supported for injection coding, battery management resetting etc because you can not code Vauxhall Vivaro X82 injectors on some machines even if it states it will. I don’t know about this scanner tool and it may code injectors but please make sure first even if it states it will. If this scanner does, it’s a great buy in my opinion.

This unit appears to offer good value for a well featured, midpriced diagnostic unit. We have used Autel for many years, I'm curious why you purchased the Eurotab 3 when there are many equivalent units from well regarded manufacturers at a fraction of the £6k price of the ET3 ?

Jimmy, this is similar to my TOPDON ArtiDiag 800BT with a few extra features such as the camera. The 3 years of free updates is better than some scntools.

I also have the topdon arti diag you have, opened it up yo see If I could add memory (16Gb version) but sadly no. Has Thinkcar pcb, so topdon imported this from thinkcar. Looks like this kingbolen shares similar software....

That looks like they have got the layout design just right on this one Jimmy, seems to be an easy system to navigate compared to some of the other scan tools you’ve reviewed 👍

What happens after the 3years? Can the device still be used for older models upto the last update or it no longer allows full usage like other scan tools.

It works on different cars including VAG, NISSAN and SAAB, and more. £120 per year after registering 36 months.

It might be good for a full time mechanic but for home user like me, i only use my old £50 autel al 539 once or twice max in a year there for 3 years updates is definitely not good for me considering the purchase price as well. But enjoyed the video 👌👍👏💯✌❤☘

How do all of these scan tools compare to a laptop + OBD dongle? These are not very cheap off course because of the “computer” part as well. But I (we?) have several older laptops laying around which could do the job just fine. But which dongle, and is that on par with these tools…?
