"I have seen people date for 3 months & get married." The mentality of 'That could also be me' will kill my gender because another persons blessing can't be mine 🤔 Another enabler of this thinking is Disney with the princess stories that created the fairy tale dream/mindset so vele kusatoba rough! This raises the reasons why in our Afrikan traditions/Culture my gender was not made to date like in modern times because the elders knew how we women are & some had arranged marriage to protect us from ourselves ngoba hhayi! There is a reason why the old saying rings true even today that 'women fall inlove with what they hear & men with what they see.' Or the other 'If it feels too good to be true, it probably is.'

I believe that these scammers, besides persuasion and trickery, they use muti or substances they put in food and drinks to put the victim in some kind of a hypnotic state. It happened to my mother. Tge hook was not a love scam but Competition. My mother is intelligent and very strict with her money but if I told you it was shocking how she took instructions from scammers who are complete strangers and went to the bank to withdraw large sums of money, handing over to the scammers. Even I as her child she would never willy nilly go to the bank and withdraw money to give me! So it is not just greed or naivety or ignorance.

😂😂The hut that speaks. This sounds like my story, except mine, wasn't a love scam. I accompanied a friend to Pretoria CBD on Bloed street, just before you get to the petrol station on Prinsloo. We went into a herbal shop to get something to help with remembering dreams and to cleanse after losing a loved one. Worst day of this year because a R100 consultation turned into a R10000 loss that we can't even tell our loved ones about. Ali the magician even wanted a further 15k from me after he perfomed some "miracles" to draw out the tikoloshi I've been living with for years. They burn so much mphepho in the store that you become confused and gullible. I hope he enjoyed my money and heels from whatever compels him to swindle people who need help.

Lack of knowledge about our roots causes such ignorance phela ancestors walk with their descendants & they never guide their own to ruin. If you read Afrikan history most ancestors guide their clan to fix issues that lead or will lead to the fall of the clan this then means that money comes into the clan not out. If it goes out it still needs to benefit the descendants/clan either by taking a wife, paying inhlawulo, etc. In my culture only a new wife is introduced to husband's family not umjolo, if she knew such, she would of questioned why bf was insisting such since in Afrikan culture women are not supposed to go to a sangoma alone both single or married.

My neighbor who was a 52 year old teacher that time was scammed by them. she doesnt have kids, and was desperate to have one, The guy promised to help her and pretended to love her. took her to the so called ancestors and they gave her stuff to supposedly help her fall pregnant. that stuff made her so sick, then he convinced her to retire and take her money. after the money was paid out and he got his hands on it, he lefts. gone with almost 2mil. So I think their target is mostly government workers or women who have pension fund and investments, like property ect.

The first thing for me is how you believe you can talk to ancestors through a speaker? Even if you love someone, but sometimes things are just there to see
@janetjohnston17024 ай бұрын
It just proves how most Afrikans don't know their traditions, culture & clan rituals & rites of passage due to our modern lives. In my culture only a new wife is introduced to the ancestors and not umjolo 🤦♀️ another point is that no wife is supposed to go to sangoma alone without her husband. Eish! Indeed lack of knowledge will continue to be our downfall 🤞
@pointa2b3884 ай бұрын
@@janetjohnston1702 so your ancestors talk? Tradition and culture are not homogeneous, just because someone believes that africans should do this and that, does not mean it is other person's culture, thats your culture
@janetjohnston17024 ай бұрын
@@pointa2b388 Did you even read to understand what I wrote? Typical keyboard warrior behavior 🙄 I used my culture as an example after I made a statement & I was even specific since I said 'In my culture' this is simple English. It's no wonder you didn't get my point and for your information you just made a dodo out of yourself because you spoke of belief & culture in the same sentence which further proves how less knowledge you are since traditions, culture, clan rituals & practices don't care about what you believe but it is a way of life that operates in the laws of nature & beyond. Please educate yourself and learn to read to understand in order to be able to engage in a proper discussion without misunderstandings or just ask if you don't understand rather than assume/misinterpret my statement.

@@nolitafumbaNiyayiva le yobuthi noba you are just celebrating? The people I come across are highly intelligent women, some of them don't mind living life all by themselves, they are not desparate at all. It makes sense that uninzi lwabo luyakhafulwa period! But again Some men including South African men are jeaolous of successuful women so I am not surprised that there is zero empathy. What I like is you mighy say "Tshotsho" tomorrow it will happen to your daughter. And my tribe will rise, that I am sure of. Women fall & rise and when they do, they rise with other women e.g now they are warning us.
@trustingnobody6284 ай бұрын
@dot510 Sister, South African girls are loose when it comes to these foreign nationals. As a result, they are scammed day in and day out by these vile people. We warned them many-a-times about these kind of people who are not afraid of the tears of any person who is shedding them because of the pain they inflict on them. Imagine losing all your pension money because of "umlalo!" Are you OK upstairs South African women? Imagine losing a house to a foreign national just for the nonsense you call " love." I repeat myself "Tshotsho," enjoy it. You love somebody you don't even know his relatives. These people don't fear God at all!!! Hence most of them are using the name Jesus to drain people of their hard earned money. If it happens to my daughter as you wish, as a parent, I would have warned her of the filthiness of these people from outside our country. Even the South Africans women I know who married some of the foreign nationals, they are dead. Why is that? Any person who doesn't listen when warned about a thing and its consequences must suffer its end result. It's natural. Read your Bible. Uthandana nomntu awumazi nokuba uphuma phi. Learn to protect yourselves, maan! There are men in South Africa. Handsome South African citizens.
