As a new player to Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 that never played Kingdom Come Deliverance 1 I talk about my first impressions with the game so far after around 12 hours of rather slow process and dragging myself up the steep learning curve as well as talk about how this game is changing me as a gamer and made me realize that I can indeed enjoy single player story driven games so long as they're set in a super immersive world and have top tier storytelling.
Fun unsponsored vid I threw together because I wanted to talk about the game.
I have a discord server now! - / discord
What do you think about Kingdom: Come Deliverance II so far? do you also agree that this is one of the most realistic medieval RPGs ever made? how're you enjoying the story and world immersion so far? let me know in the comments below!

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Description
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II continues the epic, open-world RPG saga set in the brutal and realistic medieval world of Bohemia. Continue the story of Henry, a blacksmith’s son turned warrior, as he navigates political intrigue and warfare. Explore a world twice the size of the original, whether in the bustling streets of Kuttenberg or the picturesque Bohemian Paradise.
The game builds on its predecessor’s realistic combat system by introducing crossbows, early firearms and a host of new weapons, while refining its already sophisticated melee combat mechanics. Navigate a complex narrative full of difficult decisions, forge alliances with powerful figures, engage in tactical large-scale battles and face moral dilemmas that impact both the journey and fate of the kingdom - all while experiencing a historically rich environment faithful to the period.
A thrilling story-driven action RPG, with a rich open world, set in 15th century Medieval Europe. Experience the ultimate medieval adventure - through the eyes of young Henry - as you embark on a journey of epic proportions.

As a Czech, I'm extremely proud of KCD 1 and 2. Not only are they great RPGs but they also teach you our rich Bohemian history, which in school was always boring to me. Love hearing all the praise for this game. Fun fact: This game was also on our national TV, we as a nation are really proud of it, and it's our new national gem.

Consider Henry a Person in that World, Bro. Roleplay him: Would you, especially with your Mma Background, tackle 5 armed men? Nah, stay in your lane, you are blacksmith's son. Blacksmith. Hunt. Brew potions. Explore the World. Bird Nests in trees contain treasure. Wayshrines have offerings. Arm yourself. Get better with absolute menial stuff. It will pay out. Live in that World, don't think of It as a Game.

I love that we're seeing more sandbox like RPGs in recent years. Last involved crafting system like this that I played probably would have been back in the 90s. Games have been trending in point, click, and wait systems. I really wish that we would see an MMO with involved crafting again. The type of game were being a full time crafter is a realistic in game profession. Thanks for sharing this one.

shift while peddling backwards to create distance. Tab to lock onto opponent, and also switch between opponents and you're lucky they simplified the combat, before there were 2 down attacks instead of just 1 and right click to stab, but now its slightly different.

Super glad you like it I played through the first game quite a few times. Trying to get the best stat horse in the game of pain because all the horse horses from a seller get slaughtered. So you have to get enough money get high enough. I will get to the area and buy the horse all before this event happens. The world is so immersive. If you’re interested, what’s the developers talk about the first game? The level is realism and work they did with historians in a lot of different categories was crazy to make it as realistic as humanly possible

An advice to new players always go sneaking way if you can until you get used to fighting. For example you need to clear a bandit camp, sneak into it during night and add poison into their food. They all will be dead shortly after breakfast lol. The real beauty of both KCD1 and KCD2 you can do literally anything. Play as you like, as you want. Quests always have multiple ways to finish them and NPCs often have different reactions to it. For example in first game there was a mission to track and locate a gang of bandits like 10 of them. And if you kill them instead and report it. NPC was going mad like how the heck you did that, it was so funny. Another good advice would be finding Mutt, our dog as soon as possible. He is surrounded by some wolves so don't go too early however, find some armor etc. Mutt is just OP in both first and second game and he will save your life dozens of times especially while fighting outnumbered. Keep feeding and praising him to build your relationship so he wouldn't run away too easily after getting hit twice.

CryEngine isn’t as popular because it doesn’t have a lot of the bells and whistles that use AI and tech to simulate things that otherwise in CryEngine devs have to implement themselves. UE for example has a lot of things that the engine simply does FOR the devs, so it saves a lot on development. If you can use it to its fullest though, it’s an amazing engine - just takes more work.

Best way to describe this game is a first person mid-evil dark souls light. You need to have the proper combat mechanics flushed out and gear does not help. Are there any fantasy elements in this game? E.g., magic or fantastical creatures. Or is it all realistic medieval content?
