Woah, I remember the first time I need to use the bow in this game. Hunt a rabbit they said, it'll be easy; they don't shoot back. I used 30 arrows to shot the first one, missed 29 times (said rabbit was right there in front of me, stucked). Aaah, good times! Honestly though, if you're a gamer, and never gave this title a chance; you doing yourselves a disservice. Wish I could experience this game for the first time again.

@@daviduhlir. Yep, can confirm that in the name of Christ, the heretic and the sinner stood no chance when confronted with the most holy "perched on a cart" archery position. The ground ran red, because Deus Vult, clearly.😁 Those barrels were a touch more 'slippery' than I'd planned for as I started to 'drift' slightly, but damn. Great fun! One guy managed to get close enough to take a swing while I was trying to settle my position, but not one archer managed to loose an arrow before receiving one in the face first. Sir, I salute you!

@@trentoskivich4211 Not easy to begin with, but eventually very strong. 1: Archery is an entirely different experience once some levels in Bow are attained. Sway reduces then all but stops. 2: Aiming without a crosshair or reference point starts hard, but with practice you just develop that instinct as to where the center of the screen is and it starts to click. 3: Chumps. Vatzek in Ledetchko is good for some easy levels in Bow by playing Chumps, and you can earn some good cash early too. First time you score 20/20 is just a satisfying feeling, and while I have no hard data, I believe that the higher your score in Chumps, the higher experience reward you gain in Bow. 4: Stealth. It can give you a free shot or two before they notice where you are. 5: Mutt. He can keep one enemy off you for a while. 6: Backpedalling whilst nocking an arrow doesn't give you much space, but it does give you some. It's all about the number of arrows you can put down-range before they get to melee range with you. 7: Dollmaker poison. I can't articulate how important this is. It reduces an enemy to walking speed only, granting you that all important extra time to hit them. This is key to taking on groups. All the arrows I use for use against human enemies are dripping in Dollmaker. I never use clean arrows other than when hunting. 8: Wounding arrows might be good for causing bleed, but it's the piercing arrows that stand the best chance of getting that poison through armour. Hunting arrows for animals, piercing arrows for armoured 'animals'. 9: If all of that doesn't produce a shooting gallery, and sometimes it won't, even medieval archers had a backup weapon. In my case, whip out that longsword and finish off the final guy or guys. 10: Horse archery is an option, but it's almost cheating with how strong it is.

I did this mission yesterday, I spent 5 real life hours trying to do it and 1 and a half in-game days. I wasted so much time trying to actually sneak in and sabotage but it didn't work so I left because it was nighttime and said fuck it and decided to not sabotage it. I went to sleep in Talmberg but then decided to go back in and try to sabotage them again. I tried getting a Cuman outfit and it didn't work for some reason, most people still attacked me. Finally I just got mad and decided to go all in and kill everyone in the camp. Only I actually fought everyone without cheating like this. I had to get groups of 2 or 3 guys to catch me then run outside the camp and fight them there. It took me forever and at the end of it I had injuries everywhere, screen red in blood and barely any health and stamina left but I still managed to kill everyone. Henry must've been spitting and pissing blood after fighting the entire camp outnumbered for like 16 hours straight.

I do a lot of secondary missions before Runt and he was almost disapointing easy for me. Bandits on routes often were stronger. But till fight with him i already have almost best equipment in the game and mastered fighting so what i expected?

I tried to 100% stealth this quest Metal Gear Solid style. I really, REALLY tried. It felt amazing until THAT fucking bandit camp right there. No back entrance for me to Solid Snek into (unlike the Cuman camp), the cutscene with Runt would basically give away my position as well right after it was done (noice) and also no way to pull it off with the Cuman disguise, cause the guards would smell my bane poison in their food from 200 meters away and instantly recognize it's me who put it in there. It was at that very moment when I, Henry of Skalitz, embraced the cheese.

I just do it on horseback, just ride back and forward from the bridge to the green between the camps and they all come running out of the camps and you stab them all on horseback. It's a shame the game doesn't acknowledge Henry killing them all whatsoever and just respawns everyone. It would be great to turn up with Radzig and Robard only for them to be like "They're all dead, wtf Henry?!"

I think you have to just run in and they wont target you unless you fire towards them if you get up there quickly enough to avoid their line of sight, some may even sleep through it. Some had weapons drawn/ bows shouldered and would not equip until I fired first.

I did something similar with a polearm, forgot which one. By a wall and between tents they came. But in that narrow pass, numbers count for nothing. It was one of the first 'epic' things I had done in the game.

This no longer works. Here is the best option. 1) run into the cuman camp and towards the back left you will see a broken brick wall. It’s on the left of a shallow cave with water in it. 2) you will run up the wall and change your armor to the best you have. From there, use your bow to kill the cumans. They will not run all the way up the wall. You may also see like 2-4 bandits. 3) once they are dead, use potions if needed. Then you walk to the entrance of the cuman camp and shoot at the bandit on the hill that’s near the bandit camp entrance. Once he starts running towards you run back to the wall where you were. 4) kill all the bandits that run up. After that, loot everything you want then burn all barrels of arrows and put bane potion in the pots. Don’t forget to pick all the locks. 5) from there i went up the tall stairs stairs and shot in the bandit camp. There will be about 4 or so that come out I think. Then I went into the camp. The cut scene starts and after that I just snuck to a pair sleeping killed one then like 3 or 4 some out and they are easy kills. 6) then just loot everything and burn and poison what you need and go tell sir rad. But don’t forget to go to each location you need to, to get 100% of the spy effort.

Man i really really wish that the game recognised the fact that you destroyed the entire camp like i would like them to not beleive me at first then totally freak out Like when you're supposed to negotiate with a bandit noble you can actually destroy their camp and when you tell Bernard he's like "Dude wtf all of them?!?" and then when you pay that mercenary dude like 15k to not betray Sir Radzig, he acts surprised "the fuck you mean you paid him?" It could be something like that here but i guess the developers didn't expect anyone to beat an entire camp without exploiting the dumb ai Oh well, just a small detail i guess

Yep but it would break the next main quest. It's more than probably because it's part of the main storyline (And battle of Pribyslavice is supposed to be Henry's very first real battlefield and experience of war, which is quite important for his character development) that it has been designed this way. All other quests you speak of are side quests, they had more freedom to add different outcomes.

I did the dumbest possible Robber Baron run you could possibly do, I scouted out the camp, decided to reap all the glory for myself and just killed everybody then reported back to Bernard to tell him the good news, but the only speech option was to tell him the location of the camp, so the whole company rode off to find an empty camp and then Bernard was like "Good job everyone, Henry and Capon thanks to you too for "helping" I guess"

Would be awesome if the whole game was influenced by your deeds in the main story. If you kill everyone in the camp alone and radzig's company then finds a bloody pryvislavitz with clear signs of battle you become like a Joan of Arc figure and you become the involuntary leader of a new sect until the bishop comes and burns you. But if instead you sabotaged the camp and murdered as many people as possible in their sleep, people will be wary of you, treating you like a psycho. I mean imagine you came across a dude that tells you he murdered 50 people in their sleep during an infiltration mission or whatever I'd be pretty scared of that dude. I'd be locking my doors every times he comes to town.

This seems like a lot of effort. I usually just poison what I can with stealth and if I get caught just sprint around and poison the rest, I can usually do the entire Cuman camp stealthily but then just sprint in the bandit part and poison the 2 pots. After that just run around burning the arrows before escaping, all done in about 5 mins if you're aren't bothered about sneaking and just get right to running in.

kinda breaking my immersion to sabatage if u plan on getting discovered though, u are just alerting the enemy about ur presence and who would eat from a pot after seeing u putting something in it while making a big show of it. usually in my playthrough, I stay absolutely undetected and only take out sentinels with my dagger and hide their bodies when absolutely necessary. if u can t poison all the pots and burn all the arrows so be it. kingdom come is about realistic and immersion not about henry being a superman. and obviously not gotta abuse the op archer ability too.

This is great! I usually lure them to the bridge and take em out on horse or 1v1. This time around I brewed 12+ Bane potions and am going to sneak and slip it into the pots at night In disguise.

I have spent hours...... killed them all, Just to find out that they are still there when mission nest of vipers begins :) But when playing Band of Bastards You can acctually swipe off entire camp by yourself and get Bernard congrats :)

I'm going to be honest I use the show bow cursor command but I had a ton of fun clearing out the camp there is so many spots where you can turn this immersive medevial hardcore survival game into a ye olde bow shoot out. Super fucking fun
