It certainly looks like they won't disappoint with KCD2.

100%. KCD2 is certainly shaping up to be my GOTY 2025.

Warhorse does things Ubisoft, Nintendo, and Bioware fail to do ☝️

Yep. They must be protected.

I think with God Of war 2018 many people want sequels to really change what they are. This why the likes of God Of war Ragnorock, HFW and Spiderman 2 did not have the impact that the Previous games did. But the thing is those games in terms of Game design have that same Sony Cinematic formula. There is nothing wrong with it but they do not push the bar like a game like Kingdom. In Terms of KCD not only is it one of most alive open world games its also has a deep combat system which while a bit stiff at times is rewarding to master. The quests design as an RPG game far exceeds the likes of Witcher 3 which only allows you to make choices through dilaogue most of the time. Kingdom come not only allows you to make choices via Dilalogue but also through san box gameplay, can't beat some one follow them home and kill in their sleep. The game design in KCD is amazing there some minor flaws but most flaws are caused by the Budget of the game. What kingdom come 1 needed was more unique Random ecounters in its world and being able to interact with NPCs on the fly like In RDR2 and Bully. Everything i wanted in KCD1 to make it a perfect game for me has been added in the Sequel. like you say this what a sequel should be games that change to much lose their identity. Also KCD2 is literally the second game in the series i think by the third game they will have to make it still familiar but different at the same be a bit differnt. This why think after KCD2 they should make the Viking game they were planing to make.

Rare to see someone with that view of the Witcher 3, but I agree totally. It was a fantastic game, but it fell short a bit as a RPG for me. KCD blew my mind first time in the the Ginger in a Pickle quest. Just like you said, got my ass kicked by the two bandits, then I found their camp, waited till night and killed one in his sleep and fought the other one in his jammies. Never played a game that gave me so much freedom.

They should be protected, along with Larian.

Warhorse did actually tell you what happens to Henry in order to make the story make sense with resetting your skill levels etc…

I think I missed that bit

@@DualLifeGames Good vid though, added to my hype for the game. It‘s also in one of the trailers… where he falls off the hillside fighting whomever he was fighting 😊

Looks amazing the first game along side RDR2 are two most alive and reactive and interactive open worlds to date With Kingdom come 2 and GTA6 coming next year other open worlds will really struggle to Compete.

KCD1 already ruined a few games for me. I just can't get into Cyberpunk 2077, because I just don't feel like it has the same kind of free and reactive world. When it launched I hoped CP2077 would be like KCD but cyberpunk setting. It wasn't and still isn't imo.

Screw Dragon Age The Failguard 🤮

I'll give Veilguard a go for what it is, but I'll never see it a proper sequel, at least not to DAO.
