Kevin was putting his cello away during the operatic section at the start, then the camera’s focus was so locked onto Mitch that we didn’t see him, though you did hear him.

Ah, the Avi and Mitch show. Avi gut kick, and the ultimate Mitch slap. Yes, we told you so. Yup, said it. This is an upgrade from Imogen Heap. The cell phone could not properly record. One of the sounds you were trying to figure out was Avi doing overtone singing again, but the sound system couldn't handle Avi. I think, won't swear to it, but I think after this tour is when PTX started bringing their own speakers, just because of Avi. He, Tim Foust, and Geoff Castelecci (spg?) have all been known to blow speakers. Yes, Kevin was there, just putting Beyonce away. He plays the song that is in the video of how Scott found him for the group during concerts. It's beautiful.

I’m not sure the point of this is the lyrics but how low Avi can go and how high Mitch can go. Yes Mitch has said he drank two Red Bull’s before this song This is the video I always suggest doubter listen too: live performance recorded on a fan’s phone. They are legitimate. Surprised you haven't reacted to this yet. This is a song called Aha by Imogen Heap, and has nothing to do with the group Aha. You should also check out PTX's official video to this song just to figure out what the song is about. It's pretty entertaining too (think Zombie Apocalypse). Here's the story behind this performance: the previous song featured Kevin on the cello, so he was backstage putting the cello away during the operatic intro. He returns to the stage (not seen on camera) just as Avi hits that low note, which actually damaged the speakers at the Star Vista Theater! Earlier in the show, Mitch had been suffering from jet lag, so he had downed two Red Bulls back-to-back during a backstage break. Right after Avi hit that note, Mitch's Red Bulls kicked in, and he proceeded to go completely INSANE on stage, while Avi continued to joyously shred the sound system in the background. And thus you have the live performance that most Pentaholics consider to be the best of their career...made even more legendary by the fact that it appears this entire performance was ONLY captured on this fan video!!

I have seen this performance in a more professional video, which is not well known, and I don't think I could find it again. Nor do I want to. It misses most of the reason that this video is so good. This video is the Avi and Mitch show. The person recording focused mostly on Mitch and we all appreciate it. But the other video did not, and misses the whole Mitch show. Yes, the sound is better, but it just doesn't. Nuf said

I knew I wasn't crazy. I did see the other video once. I also wouldn't know how to find it. You are correct About avi and mitch. In the official video I have no idea what they're saying then. It's just a joy to watch Mitch in this performance. Also In the official video the girl who asks does anybody know any ghost stories played Caroline on Vampire diaries. At least I'm pretty sure that's what her name was it's been a long time. She was also on 1 episode of supernatural.

I so enjoyed watching your reaction to this performance Dennis. Now you understand why this performance is legendary among us Pentaholics. Mitch was a Red Bulled ball of fire on this night. Plus Kevin and Avi killing the beats and bass. But your boys might enjoy reacting with you to the official video for Aha for Halloween. It starts out with the band telling a spooky story around the campfire to friends then has them acting out the story as zombies. It's a whole lot of fun. They make good zombies, especially Mitch, Kirstin and Avi.

Yes, they did do a cover of Take on Me by AHA. It's audio only and on their Classics album. It's another Mitch show. He covers 4 1/2 octaves climbing to the high note in the Take on Me chorus.

The 5th person was Kevin, and he was there, just not in the picture. This was before Avi left, so he had a chance (which he took) to blow out a speaker with his low notes near the beginning of this video. As for what "Aha" is; that's harder to say. It's an Imogen Heap cover (I think I spelled that right) and it's thoroughly strange. Check out their official video release if you're in the mood for a full-on zombie apocalypse set to music. And even after watching that, I *still* don't understand the words.

There is a PTX official video for this cover of the Imogen Heap song ‘Aha!’ But this is the live, once in a lifetime fan favorite version for all the reasons you pointed out in your reaction! Mitch was on 🔥, Avi blew the speakers and PTX do what they do best! If you want to understand the lyrics, they did do a livestream video of this song kzbin.info/www/bejne/bqOWc2ygZ7x5Zs0 a few months before the official video came out. Think baby PTX, less than a year old, on the couch around one 🎙 with Kevin and Avi front and center. You can see and hear what each of them do without passing out or hyperventilating!

The title of this should be Where’s Kevin? If you watch carefully you’ll see Mitch move left when Kevin returns. They have an official video of Aha but this is better. Don’t worry about the words, they don’t make any sense anyway. The story for this I’ve read is that Mitch was exhausted and drank 2 Red Bull’s before the performance. Kevin is on the other side of Scott. the person who filmed this never panned back far enough to show him. notice how the gap between Mitch and Kirstie gets smaller. Kevin had a solo, previously. he was putting his cello away, then he came back. (you can hear him, just not see him.)

Nope, it's a cover of the song Aha! by Imogen Heap, not doing a song by the group AHA. (Take On Me is a classic though.🙂) As others said, Kevin was putting away his cello while they did a bit of an intro. He had been in the center on the previous song. He came back on stage just as Aha! starts, & so you hear his beatboxing come in on the background, but the camera is focused on Avi then turns to Mitch, who has moved over to center stage because he will be the focus of this song. Scott slid over too & Kevin took his spot, but the person filming is obviously 🤤 over Mitch (not that I can blame them!) & barely follows Mitch's direction of when to focus on Avi again. They never turn the camera far enough right again to see Kevin. 😂 So one of the alternate titles of this vid is "the where's Kevin? video".

This is a fan cam video filmed on their phone.... it didn't like Avi's frequencies and just went fuzzy. The venue sound system didn't fair as well as the phone.... the speakers blew that night.
