It doesn't really bother me that celebrities are selling their products because I'm not buying it. I'm not a person that's easily influenced. I typically only buy things that I need and my extra goes to vacations because that's more important than material things. I do have a problem with corporations exploiting workers, medical care, gas, groceries, and rent prices. Because it seems like they just want it to be as hard as possible for people to afford basic living necessities while they act like they're "hurting" too. Yes. People pedestalize and worship celebrities too much. It's to the point where folks don't want their fave celeb to face legal consequences when they do something wrong. Why? Bc they like how they look or like their movies or music. Rihanna knows that there are people who will buy her product just bc she's Rihanna. She sees how she is worshipped.

New here. I literally laughed out loud at this title! That's why I clicked on this video. He mentioned a really good point. Like what is soooo innovative or exceptional about these products??!! Why did they really need to pump this out to the masses??!! I never ever even consider at all buying any of their hair products, skin care or make up but interestingly I went to Ulta Beauty maybe a few months ago and asked for a good high lighter for brown skin tones. So I was directed to Fenty Beauty and to my absolute shock, it was forty dollars a piece! I IMMEDIATELY thought for real!! Like I thought Rihannna was suppose to be the 'down to earth' girl and in tuned with the masses. I can understand MAYBE thirty dollars but forty dollars for one highlighter. Unbelievable!! So naturally I did not make that purchase.

I feel like people choose to worship celebrities. They're shallow and look to celebrities for validation. They just don't have to buy this crap. They'll buy it, use it, and think to themselves "this isn't anything special." But they will be in comment sections claiming that anyone who didn't give a good review is jealous. Then they'll buy more celebrity products that are subpar in quality because they're loyal to somebody who has no idea they even exist. People just follow and that's always been strange to me. People do what they need to in order to get rich and stay rich. Capitalism isn't going anywhere. It works because people are materialistic, even poor people.

Half of these celebrities have had some type of work done. So their beauty is not real. You can not look like something that not real. I wish people will just work on improving them self stop trying to look like someone else. Their are inexpensable products that work just as good as those products that they're selling. A lot of their stuff are copycats of stuff that already out there. And for Beyonce and her mom why did they do hair thing at first. Since she was in the hair business instead of a clothing line. Maybe mom would've been a house hold name herself.
