I did the quiz first time perfectly and I swear they gave me all the hard questions. This was before the Angler Poplin tells you how many Goombas you’ve killed, so I just guessed correctly. My options were 70, 80, 100. I’m not sure how the wrong answers are determined if I were to get 70 or 100 kills instead of 80.

Zero uses the Chain-Rod weapon in the second Mega Man Zero game as a grappling hook, although it is primarily used as a weapon to attack enemies. It does have utility functionality to pull blocks around to form platforms or open passages; but that feature kind of niche. (Source: someone who's a big fan of the Mega Man Zero games.) [PS: The Zero games are the sequel-subseries to the Mega Man X games as the X games are the sequel-subseries to the classic Mega Man games. The Zero games surprisingly have a strong plot which progresses past the simple repetitive Saturday Morning cartoon level writing of the classic and X games.]

About your comment about Zero doing something like what you do with the Vine Badge. Yeah, Zero can do that, in the Mega Man Zero games, is really a tricky weapon that can be used for doing like parkour-esque platforming.

Late to see this, but Super Mario Bros. Wonder entices me to get it more than before after trying it out with friends. And yeah, when you were mentioning Mega Man X, it is a thought to get into the series as a step-up from classic Mega Man experience. If you ever do, just be aware that the X series starts great but stumbles in some parts as it progresses from X1 through X8.

It's in Megaman Zero 2 that you get a grapple hook that also allows to yank enemies and shields. The Megaman platform series is right up the skill gaming area. I wholly recommend and no I am not biased.

7:55 I will say, the Mega Man X games are a very different beast from classic Mega Man. X has a lot more abilities like wall climbing and dashing that make the X series much more fast paced and hectic compared to the classic series, which has a greater focus on methodical platforming. There's also a greater focus on exploration in the X series, as you'll find max HP upgrades and armor pieces that give X even more cool stuff to work with like directional air dashes, the ability to charge special weapons, etc. Mega Man X 1, 2 and 4 are fantastic, 3 is alright, 5 and 8 are somewhat divisive and 6 & 7 are almost universally bashed. I still like 6 cuz the ost is peak, though.
