@@ayceleijae Go with the tool rationale. Ask your husband how many tools he has to work around the house? Another approach you can use if he paints the house is the number of different brushes and rollers one needs to paint a room. No excuses- just another way of looking at your acquisitions.

I read Sonia G blog and she did say these are permanent brushes and she will be releasing them as singles just not yet so I'm going to wait for that because i don't need the whole set, the price is $145 . Great review Alicia

I always bought “decent” brushes, but I never knew the major difference natural hair brushes make. All I can say is, “Wow!” I have the first fusion release. It's a shame she didn't have more small eye friendly sizes in this range. But... c'est la vie! Also I'm surprised she didn't colour them purple or green so you could see the difference from her other collections. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I’m really surprised that a collection for the eyes designed for liquids wouldn’t have a brush for eyeliner or even eyebrows as they tend to be liquid form- it could just be me though considering how terrible I am with those type of tasks😂😂😂❤❤❤

I think that it may be because there are many individual eyeliner/eyebrow brushes out there for cream and liquid. Though I agree it would helpful to have it already apart of this set.

That’s true, but Sonia probably wanted to tackle products that covered the majority of the eyes. Given that these products are formulated to be blended out, and having brushes that can make that easier is understandable. I think more people would prefer applying cream shadow all over the eye, versus applying liner in a precise manner. What do you think?

Sonia and the craftsmen are genius-artists. These are beautiful brushes. I love that this really go into the tools by formula. The shapes provide a tried-and-true tool base. I hope that she expands on the line with some new shapes. As my lids age, my day-to-day application has changed to lift my eyes. I like chisel shaped detail brushes for contouring my eye shape.

Yay! I haven’t been this excited about an eye brush release in a long time. Lately, I’ve been using more & more cream shadow as a “one-and-done”. But picking up and/or blending with my fingers haven’t always been easy or precise. This set is exactly what I’ve been needing❣️

I intended to skip the set because I don't use that many cream eye products so my natural hair brushes are already great...however in thinking about my cream to powder shadows, my multichromes, etc now I think I want two of the brushes. The builder since builder three is my absolute favorite eye brush from Sonia G, and the Jumbo Worker (bigger version of Jumbo concealer that I loved enough to get a backup). I don't need them enough to buy the whole set though, so if they get sold individually, I'd get them at that point.

If I remember, Sonia said these will eventually be available as singles on an IG post. Since I have the soft concealer from the fusion face set, I don't necessarily need the fusion blender too. Thanks for this great review and such helpful demos Alicia as always! You are always one of the very few I watch videos from to when it comes to learn and decide about whether getting new (natural hair) brushes or not. For instance, I have the Keyaki V2 set and I love the Jumbo Worker for applying and diffusing my undereye concealer. I was debating on whether getting the standard size of this brush or the Jumbo Concealer instead. Conclusion: I will get the Jumbo Concealer as it is a tad smaller but, most important, it has a slightly slanted side, which doesn’t show on Beautylish pics and I know it will be perfect for my intended use. I am sold! 🤗😘

I’ve recently bought my first Sonia G brushes and am in love. The Lotus soft cheek and the Base, and the Keyaki mini brush set are my intro to her brand. Yet, my first Fude Brush was a LE collaboration between Hakuhodo and Sephora years ago! The soft cheek brush is my favorite and has lasted for a long time. I was so impressed with the crease brush from the Keyaki set. It was so soft but blended beautifully without irritating the eczema on my eyelids and now I’m considering a full eye set from Sonia G. Especially since most of my brushes have been breaking at the ferrule or they’ve started irritating the skin around my eyes 😅. I use mainly powders but use cream shadows on occasion. Which would you recommend: Fushion eye set or her Pro Eye set?

This looks like a nice set for people who use more cream products than powder or some combo of cream & powder. I don't really use any cream eyeshadows, I've never found a formula that didn't irritate my eyes/make them itchy & didn't crease so I gave up on them. I do combine cream & powder complexion cosmetics but I purchased the Purple Set that SoniaG released a year or two back & those brushes get a lot of use. If I do get into cream shadows, I might pick up 1 or 2 of these eye brushes individually :)

Yes! They will still be good for powder. I do prefer all natural bristles for powder, but this blend is versatile enough for powder.

Hi Alicia, this was a really useful video. Really love your demos! For undereye concealer, how would you compare the Fusion Soft Concealer, the Fusion Jumbo Concealer and the Fusion Blender? What do you think about them compared to the Hourglass Vanish Concealer brush as well? I'm wondering how they would differ in the application and blending of undereye concealer!

Hi! I’m sorry for the delay. Soft Concealer is definitely more for precision work, and I like to whip it back and forth, as opposed to the Jumbo Concealer, I like the tapping down application. Fusion blender is a lot smaller, and I rather use Soft Concealer just to get the blending done faster. Believe it or not, the Jumbo Concealer is softer than the Hourglass brush, and has more give when on the skin.

I appreciate all your work. I wished Sonia would make a brush that was soft enough and not so dense to diffuse put a light wash of something like Mac paint pot. I think her brushes are too stiff/ dense. Yes soft but too dense and that moves the product around too much. I want a brush that has short and longer bristles but small enough for the eyes. I like to gently pounce or buff the Mac paint pot on my lid. Thank you

Wow so far the first video about this video. Great job on this video, it is hard to not buy these brush without your explanation. No offense but did I watch a hsn video? Do you want to stay on the positive side of the PR list? Sonia g missed the mark not including a tight liner brush/ brow brush. Not to mention a con while watching your videos make it hard to trust your review. Mind you I am familiar with the quality of Sonia G brush and have a several in my collection becase of your past reviews. How can Sonia improve when no one in Pr has 😮anything negative to say.
