That hits the nail on the head. I'm 67 now. It is not that i'm afraid of changing. But it is that deadly combination of guilt, responsibility, and being able to to see suffering more and faster then others. Or maybe, the others just turn their heads faster away from other people problems...

My experience is most people in the world care very little of at all for their fellow humans. That leaves those of us that are more empathetic and compassionate feeling ay times like we don't belong in this world. I know this is often true for me
