The “lever when I pull” has been such a helpful cue in so many movements. Makes everything move so much better. Thank you WODprep.

Looks like there's a mess between symptoms and causes, but why not if this allows to make progress and to think about our movement. Great video where we see very clearly the "mistakes" or symptoms. Very good demos.

Would love a video on stringing together butterfly chest to bar pullups and mistakes
@aleahlarson98815 жыл бұрын
Fantastic video Ben! I've seen/coached/been told most of the mistakes in the video, except the first one, which is the one that I'm pretty sure gets to me once I start to fatigue in C2Bs. Thanks, now with that knowledge (and your visual cue of being balanced under the bar), I know how to get better! Also, my guess is $20 in your pocket ;)

Can CrossFit be in Olympics and be an official sports ??
@WODprep5 жыл бұрын
I don't think it will ever be an Olympic Sport because it uses one of the main Olympic Sports within itself (Olympic Weightlifting)... but I hope I'm wrong!
@nmartin55515 жыл бұрын
Crossfit is something I love, have for ten years, but I think if you really look, CF has seen its Apex in the fitness trend world. Obstacle Course Racing (OCR) would seem to be claiming that spot now (especially Spartan), and I have enjoyed Spartan too! I think there is decent overlap in these two activities, but I’m not thinking either will become Olympic sports. I agree with the Olympic Lifting comment for part of the reason. I think the difficulty making either a standardized across venue, equal challenge, equal parts of why they are challenging is not likely possible. Mountain biking made it to the Olympic Games because it doesn’t have too many moving pieces, you can judge it by time, you can probably even classify courses for altitude range, and certainly length to have something that can be judged. Of course, this is solely my opinion with no actual qualifications that make it special or expert, so take it with a grain of salt. Maybe even Himalayan Pink Sea Salt!
