The first King of the Kirat dynasty was Yalamber, who defeated Bhuvan Singh, the last king of Ahir Dynasty, and established Kirat rule in Nepal. Thank you very much for your informative and constructive research. Let us agree the draining out of Kathmandu Valley Lake by Manjusri as the beginning of History of Nepal, then we all can accept we are proceeding on a firm ground. We have therefore, accepted that Manjusri symbolically "created" dry land for his followers to lead a settled life. Those followers of Manjusri were in fact Kiratis and Yellung Hang was annointed as their Hang (King) by Manjusri himself before he left. Thereafter, the list of Kings follows and we can bring in Swayambhu Puran and Kirati Bungsawali where the historical visit of Buddha after his enlightenment during the reign of Kirati King Sthunko of Kiratdom of Kathmandu has been recorded. It is followed by the visit of Ashok the Great to Kathmandu who came following his Master's footsteps during the reign of Kirati King Jite Dasti which is mentioned in Swayambhu Puran as well as our Bungsawli and this becomes authenticated history of the Kiratis. महाभारतको समयमा हिम्बत खण्डमा चार गौरबशाली राज्यहरु थिए एक हो बिराट दोस्रो मिथिला र तेस्रो लावन्य(गोपाल र महिष्पालहरुको राज्य) र चौथो लिम्बुवान। बिराटनगर, जनकपुर,साखु,गोकर्ण,थिमी र ताप्लेजुङ को क्षेत्र प्राचिन कालमा बिशाल थियो। जस्तै जनपदहरु हस्तिनापुर, मद्र, मगद, पाञ्चालका राजाहरु अरु राज्यका भन्दा शक्तिशाली थिए त्यस्तै हिम्बत खण्डमा जनकपुर,साखु,ताप्लेजुङ,बिराटनगर राज्य निकै शक्तिशाली थियो। आजको जस्तो एउटाले राज गर्ने प्राचिन खण्डमा थिएन। हरेक राज्य र हरेक राजाहरु थिए। बिक्रम सम्बत काठमाण्डौका राजा बिशाल बिक्रमादित्यले २०७८ बर्षअघि स्थापना गरेका थिए।
