The thing I like about Morrow, Veronica Taylor, Peter Cullen, Kevin Conroy, and Roger Craig Smith is that although they are famous, at least they still act like mature adults who don’t go on childish fits. To sum up Schemmel, he is a deluded out of touch manchild who has pretty much let the fame consume him. He is basically creating this reality that centers around him and thinks that any other Goku actor threatens his career.

I was suppose to meet him for the first time here in Toronto at Fan Expo but they cancelled it because of Covid. Now this. My heart goes to his family especially during these tough times. I can't even imagine what they're going through. I wish I met him. This really stings and hurts beyond belief. Well R.I.P. Kirby Morrow. Obviously Americans didn't get to hear him as Goku but Toonami viewers from those days will remember him fondly as Trowa Barton from Gundam Wing and those same kids who got into anime probably remember him quite fondly as Miroku in InuYasha and Mikami from Death Note. Also, damn Schemmel is thin skinned and petty. I'm not even necessarily one of those "I stand with Vic" guys and he will always be Goku to me but to Canadians and I think British too there were a lot of Gokus

Trowa!!!! This dude was a big part of my middleschool years. Even now I love going back and hearing his voice in Gundam Wing. Wow, Sean Schemmel must be one of the most egotistical actors in Anime. Like, he banned Peter Kelamis because he thinks only he can Voice Goku. Well, let me tell Sean Schemmel this, what other character besides Lucario and Goku did he voice? Mostly minor characters that most people forget. Kelamis, on the other hand, has a wide voice acting career that spans longer than Sean Schemmel

But yeah this is sadly common is that when an actor portrays a character, they sometimes get attached to it and it becomes the role they are only associated with. That’s why I prefer Peter Cullen and Veronica Taylor because while they have been replaced with other actors, you don’t see them be egotistical about it. And like I said, the only roles Schemmel has been known for are Lucario, Goku, and a bunch of minor toles in F Zero GP Legend
