Kirbys Can't Pick Up Pebbles or Gravel, Right? #kirby #pebbles #gravel

I bet the measurements would have been slightly higher if you added the gravel that got trapped in the emptor.😊

Kirby vacuums are definitely the best vacuums ever made. Sure, they're heavy, but you'll slowly get used to it

If you're not lifting them up, you don't notice the bulk very much.

Nice video! While I do not enjoy Kirbys I will admit that they are excellent carpet cleaners.

That is some VacuumFacts level BS. maybe with a horribly worn-out brush, it won't pick up pebbles, but they wouldn't sell if they couldn't pick up gravel.

Exactly.

I got these requests all the time. By far the most common is that why would you get Kirby when you can have far superior Shark. That always have most laugh from me.

I haven’t done any formal testing, but just in my experience, my cats litter does tend to get trapped in the corners of the nozzle when she tracks it onto the carpet. Using the hose isn’t an issue when it’s on my hard floor (where the majority of it lands). Certainly not a deal breaker, but can be somewhat annoying.

Thanks for posting and busting that bogus claim. Love my Kirby’s, currently have over 30 of them!

@@VacLab its always a good day when you upload a mini meet, kirby vid, or a whcc

I love my KIrby machines too. I will say that for hose performance I have to chase cat litter more with a Kirby than an Electrolux or other clean air machine.

Maybe try the hose and various other floor attachments and see how that works.

So these materials are more of brushroll biased than airflow biased just like a sand material?
@VacLab7 ай бұрын
Yes. Big and heavy particles will pickup better with a good brushroll to flick them into the airflow path.

Awesome video I don’t know why but I do like that noise when something hits the Kirby fan I don’t know why but I just do

I grew up with a Kirby Classic and since it was a shake out bag you could really hear the debris. My Mom always found that sound satisfying.

I have a Kirby. It can’t pick up anything unless the carpet is open back… which all carpet should be, AND you have good foam. There better shape the carpet is in the better a Kirby will work.
@VacLab3 ай бұрын
Kirbys will pickup just fine on rubber backed carpet (low pile commercial, etc.) but you have to have a good brushroll and the height set properly. Many have difficulty with this unfortunately. ☹️

@@VacLab I have tried different things. My basement carpet is glued to the floor. Kirby picks up stuff but there is a noticeable lack of carpet fluffing which seems to help with picking up debris within the fibers. I also have a brand new brush roll it made no difference.
@VacLab3 ай бұрын
@@tekjunkie28 seems like I'll have to make a video with some low pile carpet in my basement. 😁 And of course you've seen my Church cleaning videos using a few Kirbys, right?

Where did you find the stuff that you were testing these with?

Try taking the labeling on the packages and do a google search.

I have a question my mom wants me to throw out my vacuums what should I do because I saved them from the landfill?
