About ten years ago my daughter was wrongly accused by two off duty coppers for not paying for her petrol. One of the idiots did almost two thousand pounds of damage to her car .yes just under two grand. Their "old school" inspector who investigated their crime against my daughter issued the costs of repairing her car. He sat in my lounge with tears in his eyes and openly told me that he could not wait to retire because of the appalling mentality of the modern copper. This country is in the shit big time.

That happens a lot. Once they have realised that the person they have stopped actually knows more about the law than they do out comes the phone and google comes into play.
