Bought a bottle of this and the single barrel last night at the new Costco by my house. Popped them both open when I got home and really enjoyed them, especially the BIB. Great bourbon for a nice price especially since it's a liter bottle.

As I water my grass while drinking some Early Times BiB, I wish we had a Costco where I live... But I remembered that Texas only allows liquor sales in liquor stores, so I still wouldn't be able to buy any Kirklands BiB. @matt, will you consider doing a blind tasting to compare Kirklands, Early Times and Evan Williams BiB's ? All three seem to be similar price points per ounce. If 1792 has Costco's contract, that's some dang good juice Costco is selling.

Take a road trip to Florence KY (two hours south from Columbus). The Costco there sells liquor. Make a day of it and go hit the liquor stores in Newport and Covington KY just across the river from Cincy.

Or also possibly a finger. I found a new way (for me) to enjoy cheaper whiskey. Eat a small chocolate chip cookie and chew it up. Then take a nice shot of your whiskey of choice. Suddenly your Kirkland whiskey is all vanilla and chocolate and shortbread. Bappo.

Isn't that also downsizing from 1L to a 750? That's probably also you're store, I've never seen BT in my Costco but each summer they get the Kirkland 1792 offerings. Snagged the Single Barrel this year after missing it last year...best of the bunch imo. Otherwise, SB was very similar to BiB (not surprising at 92 vs 100 proof), but BiB held up in cocktails better.
