Dear Kirsten, I felt you when you got angry at discovering people had thrown their trash into your skip. It had happened to us while we were renovating and luckily we had caught them red handed right after they literally filled our skip up with construction material. And we had made them pick everything and take it back. The cheek of some people is unbelievable! I greatly appreciate the fact that despite the stress you are currently going through, you still chose to share this life stage with us. Joerg is a very meticulous and patient worker and he inspires me to take everything slowly and do jobs carefully. Thank you for another pleasant video and can't wait to see your lovely kitchen in time for Christmas!

We completely gutted our kitchen 17 years ago when I was 7 months pregnant. No experience with installing a kitchen or having a baby, but we did both. 😅 I would lug a plastic washing bin to the bathroom to wash our dishes. My belly getting in the way of everything I was doing.😅 It was exhausting at the time, but worth all the effort, and those memories bring me so much joy. Wishing you that same joy! Hello Cincinnati, I lived there for 69 years before trying a "quick retirement" to Florida. My family was there for generations. Huismann is close to some names I was familiar with over the years. Your new kitchen will be as warm and gracious as you both are! Beautiful colors and patterns. We redid our kitchen and bathrooms simultaneously in 2023, and I was without a kitchen sink for 3 weeks. But the update was well worth the inconvenience. I am sorry that people took advantage of you. I would never dream of doing something like that either! I have a Bosch washing machine that has been going strong since 1998. I also have a Bosch fridge bought in 2000, and like the washing machine, it’s still keeping its cool after all these years. Deutsche Ingenieurskunst ist die beste!

I’m so happy for you, and so glad it isn’t me… We remodeled the whole 3 level townhouse 3 years ago after a flood in our dining room. The only 2 bits left are the kitchen counters and the fireplace surround. But my husband has decided that we need all new switch plates and plugs. He is about 2/3 of the way through. Regarding your trash bin, people can be asses. Trust me. Your kitchen remodel is coming along swimmingly. Great job! Cute fridge. We also chose a Bosch dishwasher for our guest house. We only buy the absolute best in appliances-never scrimp on those. We call beautiful faucets, door handles, drawers pulls, lighting fixtures and top notch appliances house jewelry. Very expensive but they are the first things people notice, they last forever, and are so beautiful to use and look at. Just remember: You just always must have stunning house jewelry.
