Of course you would be happy to be in the village where your mother grew up, but I can tell that the village is firmly in your heart. How nice that you could meet up with your sister and brother in law too. I know how you feel because my mother grew up in a small village in Holland and I have exactly the same feelings when I visit there. Although my mother's village is now a big seaside resort, I know what lies beneath because I have many photographs of Noordwijk back in the old days. It was once a fishing village. The food is similar, I think. Thank you for showing us your delightful place. I would love to visit it one day.

Fabulous, Germany is gorgeous, the food you showed that you were going to eat looked like my favorite kind of food and the gift shop - the most beautiful and intricately made things I've ever seen. I'm so glad you got the sheep candle holder, an absolute gorgeous piece, true artistic beauty.. Thank you for sharing ❤
