Personally I had disordered thoughts about food and it's kind of difficult to do intense workouts because I immediately think of the calories I will lose and I find that yoga has put me in a way better mental state and that's why I prefer to do this form of exercise😊

I have been doing Yoga with Adriane for the past year, not every day but about 5 days a week. I have noticed I am getting stronger, I can do more poses for longer. I feel like my clothes fit better and I didn’t gain weight over the holidays the way I have in the past! The reason I started was because I am a therapist and I needed the mental relief I get from yoga.

I have been doing Yoga by Adriene for about 10 months, I average about 4 times per week, on my living room floor at normally 5:30 am, and at age 68, I find that my flexibility and strength have improved a lot, as well as my muscle tone. I also have improved my diet with the help of my functional medicine doctor, (lots of organic food, veggies, and I use Avocado Oil and Coconut oil for cooking), and feel great. I currently am 5' 11" tall and weigh about 178 pounds and will continue as I enjoy Adriene's sense of humor, and her attitude about "where you are now is great". I have done Yoga Revolution at least 4 times, and used other videos of hers too. Love it!!

DANG JERRY, YOU'RE A BOSS! 68 and clearly still young af! I totally agree, your 4day/week practice + the addition of all of those organic veggies is such a great way to stay flexible and toned. You're so awesome for committing. I just started Yoga with Adriene 7 days ago and I already love it so much! She‘s the first yoga teacher who makes me feel good about myself even if I can‘t do the poses perfectly (because I‘m absolutely not flexible🤷🏻♀️). Adriene is one of my favourite humans. My husband I just started the Home 30 day practice for this year and have been doing her videos for a while. She's so gentle and loving; she feels, to me, like one of the few yoga instructors who actually studies and practices Actual, classic yoga, as a lifestyle, not just merely a physical activity. You are so good at describing the transitions of a yoga journey. I've been following Adrienne for several years now - and I pretty much did yoga every day for 3 years. Until last autumn where I got two injuries, one in my ankle and one in my knee (not from yoga but at work) and I've been terrified of starting doing yoga again. I was so terrible affraid of twisting wrong or extending too much. But I had nothing to be affraid of!! What I love about yoga, is how I tune into my body, how aware I get and most of all, how much at peace I feel. It was a true victory doing yoga again and I'm now on day 4 and loving every "breath" of the journey.

I love her. I’ve been doing her yoga workouts for at least two years. She is down to earth, funny and there is a workout for any specific need. She is by far my favorite. I’ve tried others and always come back to her.

I’ve been doing about half an hour of yoga every day for the past few months and the changes are noticeable. What’s even better is that I feel like it has helped me to clear up blockages in my body and actually strengthened my immune system, if that makes any sense!

I love Adriene! I've been doing her videos for the past 164 days which is incredible. I've done yoga in the past, but never committed to doing it everyday. The changes for me have been more mental than physical which for me is phenomenal since I suffer from anxiety. I love how she points out that doing yoga means that you're showing up for yourself. It made me realize that showing up for myself allows me to be there for other people. This yoga journey is something that I will never stop. I love your video, BTW 😀

@@dinosarealive5612 👋 I did her 30 days of yoga at the beginning of this year as I do every year to start the new year right. However, doing it aside from those 30 days I have not, unfortunately. Life happens, and I just started waning on my yoga routine. I do know that I really need to incorporate it back into my life. Yoga is wonderful and serves me well when I do it. I like that I take the time to do something for myself as self-care is so important. Thanks for replying as you have reminded me that I need to yoga and not just during the first 30 days of the year! I am currently on day 14 of yoga with Adrienne and I’m really enjoying my journey. And I must say, I have noticed my tummy getting flatter and my mind has been able to be much stronger in regards to what I put into my body. If people go into the yoga journey with weight loss in mind, keep in mind that you must connect it with a healthy diet as well. Great video! I love the motivation. Subscribing for sure (:

I've just completed my day 5 of the 2015 30DOY... I'm so happy now I'm doing it, its relieved so much stress that i didn't know i had, I can touch my toes (i havent been able to do that for at least 5 years!). I've done her videos on and off for a year or so but due to quarantine i've decided to stick to it and I'm seeing such a difference. I can hold a plank for longer than 2 seconds, I can put my heels on the floor when doing downward facing dog.. some things are difficult still as expected but i love the fact that she keeps telling me to be where i am and not worry about it. i'm so happy with my results and i cant wait to continue to do this practice

I'm 64 years old, and I'm in the middle of processing some pretty painful PTSD stuff. I've been searching and searching for ways to love myself through it. Somehow I found Yoga with Adrienne. I’m 18 days in with Adrienne, and I am loving it so much! She is amazing and adorable and so down to earth. This experience so far has changed my whole journey in life. I love it so much that I’ve decided on taking a completely different path than the one I was on. Yoga with adriene has been a blessing,because of an accident at 14 I worked up from not being able to move at all to barely a normal human, I had justrecently been cleared for gym exercise on 2019 and found yoga in nov 2019 then at the start of 2020 the quarantine came and I felt hopeless until I found her youtube,and yours I really like to listen because I can relate so much. I genuinely cried the first time I could touch my toes with straight legs for the first time in 10 years.

You made me smile! I recently finished my first 30 days of yoga with Adriene (her TRUE challenge) and I was so proud. I always used HIIT, cardio and strength to workout, but never considered yoga. And I always thought myself strong. But, ohmylanta, I could barely walk after the first day! My glutes were TOAST. I was a wonderful challenge, I DID IT, and now I'm a week into her Revolution program. But even more than physical, Adriene has helped me so much mentally, and I will absolutely be keeping her and yoga with me at all times.

I'm very impressed thank you for your feedback ! ...for me the problem is to stay consistent...I do yoga asanas (usually a vinyasa 40 min flow) 2-4 times a week is already complicated

You're welcome - thanks for the comment! Here's what I'd try if I were you: Break your 40 min practices up into 2 twenty minute practices. 20 mins is sooo much less daunting when you're trying to be consistent! I might add though, 2-4x/week is still badass AF. Don't forget that.

I'm a newbie with Adriene and I LOVE HER! Can't wait to do my yoga after watching both your videos on this earth angel. I just want to say that you look so much better in your 170 day video (although beautiful in both of course!) there's a change in your energy too. I'm nearly 50 and have been procrastinating for years to get started with yoga, but after about only a month of doing every day, I see the changes both physically and mentally, just like you did. Last night I hoovered my living room at 11pm because I wanted a clean floor for doing my yoga this morning! Believe me, I don't think I ever vacuumed at 11pm before IN MY LIFE. I'm on day 3 of Adrienne's challenge and I just can't wait to see what happens. And as Adriene would say, Namaste!

I’ve started doing yoga 2-3 times a week, usually at night after I eat dinner since I work during the day. I’ve found yoga to be beneficial on my muscles and to wind me down and get me ready for sleep. I’m using yoga as a way to get my body moving, not to loose weight because I don’t need to loose weight. I enjoy practicing yoga a couple days a week with the Yoga With Adrien videos!

That's cool...want to add Yoga ideally gives the best to you if done in an empty stomach...it's Asana, so, your body needs to be at its natural state...also enhances metabolism once done on an empty stomach

Excellent video and congratulations!, I’m doing the 30 days of yoga with Adriene right now and it feels great so far, I can wait to see the results but definitely it’s a complete different lifestyle. To me the most important part is do yoga first thing in the morning before face the work day.

I made it a goal last year to do more yoga. I started out strong and stopped after a couple of months but picked it back up in August. Still more yoga than the year before. I'd like to do yoga every day this year, but I've already failed at that. It's okay though. It's difficult to do yoga everyday since I work 12 hour overnight shifts 4 days a week and sometimes I'm just exhausted, especially during my very painful periods. I already missed one day of Adrienne's Home this year, but yesterday I pushed myself and doubled up on the days to catch up. Even on days I don't feel like doing it, I still try and at least touch my toes, do a spinal twist, and do a butterfly. Anything will do. Staying motivated can be difficult, but even doing those little things every day helps to stay motivated and not feel like I failed.

Totally agree with you, changing habit is all about one day at a time. After 1.5 month, I feel like something is missing if I don't do it for a day. But also taking a rest day makes a difference in your practice to let those muscles rest and develop, so when you get back at it again the next day, it's easier. YWA also taught me about acceptance, I know that I cannot do all pose perfectly, but doing it consistently is key. As Adriene said, it's not about doing perfect pose, it's about journey. I have been sore-free since I started, and my shoulders man... they are super toned, prob the first ones that I noticed huge difference! I found that picking random videos works better for me vs. doing the 30 day challenge. I want to feel not restricted, and it helps! There are times when I didn't expect the practice would be tough, but that's the beauty of it!

Never, ever have I tried yoga. I have fibromyalgia and no am no way near, as active as I used to be. Cardio flares me up, and therefore impossible. Having nothing to lose, I figured I'd give yoga w/Adrienne a try. So, I have to say I am finding it relatively do-able as compared to cardio, and for a fraction of the time! Also, every single muscle feels it, unlike cardio. By Day 3 and 4, I was super impressed with the areas targeted. Now on day 8... I feel psyched and excited. I don't overthink it, because I find it helps me unwind daily. Great way to de-stress, while giving me more range of motion and slowly sculpting my body plus renewing my mind. I find Adrinne refreshing. Really wish I had started a lot sooner, but so thankful to have found what truly will work for me!

I'm currently on 20 days straight with Adriene and Bengie 😁 she is so awesome and keeps me amuzed whilst I'm wobbling between each pose. To be fair - I'm getting much smoother and more Grounded slowly. Ive had back ache for months and nothing was working. 20 days in and I've for very little back pain now. Great video lovely and I'm now commuted to her daily practice. Much love to all ❤️❤️❤️

I find that if I do yoga right away in the morning, my body feels much better all day, I feel energized, and my yoga is already checked off for the day.

I started doing yoga 3 months ago. I practice 6 days a week, I have to have that rest day because I can feel it in my body that I need a break. I've started eating more fruit and veggies and lean protein. I have 3 kids that I'm trying to set a better example for as far as caring for your body. My mental health has improved tremendously and I just feel so strong and empowered by taking control of my emotional state instead of letting it control me.

I started the most recent "30 days" on January 2nd 2021. When I did the "30 days" in the previous years I always had difficulty getting on the mat. This year I started doing it first thing after waking up and guess what? That's the thing that made me do yoga everyday and get on the mat! I just realized that I have very low energy after 1pm and to do yoga in the morning has helped me be consistent.

Yes Kirsten! You made something click for me! You know the idea of 'putting one foot in front of the other'.. that saying people throw around as a way of helping you deal with things or achieve things? I understood the concept but never really got how to actually apply this to my real life ... like what does it mean, in actual actions? I've been doing Yoga with Adriene too and have been feeling something getting ready to fall into place (mentally)- so when you said the only way to do 30 days of yoga is one day at a time, I finally got it! The only way to do life is one day at a time, the only way I can create the bigger picture I want in life is by doing what I can on this day, right now. I know this is pretty well-known stuff, but it takes a fair amount of work, self-awareness and self-compassion to actually get these ideas to click- so thank you. Thank you SO much for sharing your life experience, it helps me understand mine. This is the gift you give to others, just by being you!

I love this review of Adrienne's 30'day yoga challenge. For those who find it hard to stick to, I find first thing in the morning is the best time. I use headphones as we have a full house and I'm always up first.

I needed this motivation. I just finished her newest thirty day yoga at home but after I was finished, I lost that motivation and felt like since I stopped so many days after finishing that I fell too far back, but finding it this video on my feed was great

I’ve only been doing yoga a month. I don’t really get to do everyday but I do as much as I can. It’s definitely been helping my anxiety and helping with chronic pain. Plus I’m doing it to be more healthy.
