Greetings all, I am 52 years old Class of 88 and without a doubt the 80s was the greatest decade of all time. Everything was emerging and yet totally mesmerizing. Everything from Tv shows, toys, movies, music, cable tv, the VCR, Home & Arcade video games, computer technology "Yes I mean the Internet see war games in 1983". Plus it wast the greatest age of "Pop/Rock/Metal/Rap" that has even been produced. We had bands like Kiss, Ozzy, ACDC, Def Leppard, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Motley Crue, Scorpions, Twisted Sister, Van Halen & even Run DMC, LL Cool J and of course The Beastie Boys. The 80's was AWESOME!!!!

53yo and Class of 1988 in San Francisco here. I agree with everything you wrote, man. The 80s were THE BEST time to be a teenager. My first concert to see Live was Y&T, Twisted Sister, & Lita Ford in 1984 @ the SF Civic Auditorium. What about you?
@conchomy2 ай бұрын
@@Flexapr I actually didn't get into the concert-going scene until later 80s. My girlfriend dragged me to Madonna's True Blue (I think) concert a Pontiac Silverdome in 86 and also saw The Monkees (great show, actually) around that same time as they were doing their first reunion tour of sorts--That Was Then, This is Now. Best concert from the 80s for me was Aerosmith with GnR opening for them in 88' at Pine Knob (outdoor theater on a gorgeous summer day). I was so baked in more ways than one, but remember it being a fantastic concert. Guns and Roses were just hitting the big time, so it was before Axl's primadonna antics created a lot of issues--they just jammed the hits from Appetite.

I'll never forget hanging out with these guys multiple times while doing guitar tech work for artists. Great memories. I still do it and hang out once in a while with all the bands I used to work with but I'm mostly a dad now now. Great times, great memories

I've got a good friend of mine that worked and was friends with them since '78. I'm watching a podcast interview with him as I type this. but, I'm not as knowledgeable about Kiss as I am about other bands. but, I've always dug this song. btw, what other bands did you tech for? I've been doing tech work in the side lately, too.

The first time I saw this video was in the kitchen at our house in the 80's, ( yeah, a TV in the kitchen!) lol ...................... When I saw Bruce Kulick take that guitar solo my jaw just dropped, I knew Kiss had finally found themselves the guitarist they were looking for, and he was in Kiss for the next 10 years!
