I was wondering if Kitanica would be ideal for 6 to 10 month long hiking treks, like the Appalachian Trail THRU hike from Georgia to Maine where the weather can be cold starting in February and then leading to lots of rain in the spring & summer seasons, and then cold again by the time you reach New Hampshire & Maine.... But mostly, how does the clothing hold up in >RAIN

Is made in the USA really a selling point? I get the jobs aspect of it, but isnt good gear good gear no matter where it comes from? Japan, Germany, Italy, UK makes some amazing quality out door gear...I would get it if the selling point was NOT made in China as an example.

Typically in the tactical industry made in the USA means quality in construction and design. Doesn't mean everyone else is awful, but is a USA company at a USA trade show....
