I should not be surprised, that as a paper artist you also know how to wallpaper. Excellent choice, I really like it. I agree, that gradually adding to your home is much more fun, than having someone do it for you all at once. We moved 25 years ago to our little old house, and it's not done yet. This year we will replace our kitchen sink and get new countertops. It's not easy to decide with all the choices. Your place has charm and warmth and is a reflection of who you are. It will be fun to see the progress.

Thank you Sabine, yes it's terrible when people feel the rush they have to have everything finished and perfect at once, in a handful of months when they move in. I feel very differently like you I guess that's the fun part of choosing a house or an apartment and improving it over the years little by little! Good luck with your own Kitchen renovations !

Yes It's just nice and so satisfying to fix things and improve our homes at own rythmes . After the kitchen is close o be completed I will still have a lot of things here and there to improve or fix or change!Thank you ! Good luck with your home renovations!

Leftover wallpaper made sturdy with cardstock and big watercolors single sheets cut to size one can make sketchbooks , fold in middle, sharp needle and strong thread use a wine cork or thimble to push through stack of papers to bind it. You can use it also as recipe book to match your kitchen. Or index card with thin edge of the wallpaper glued around edges. Small diy box covered in the wallpaper to house the indexcards. Wallpaper can also cover plain journals.

Quel courage de se lancer dans le placement d’un papier peint pareil, il doit être particulièrement difficile à raccorder en effet. Le résultat en vaut cependant bien la peine 🤩 En ce qui concerne les portes de placard, si ton intention est de les peindre je me disais que tu pourrais peut être trouver des moulures à fixer dessus pour casser leur côté archi-plat et leur donner un look ancien qui ira mieux avec l’atmosphère de ton appart… et avec des moulures tu pourras même les patiner après peinture!

Il y a beaucoup de déchet en fait pour tout raccorder mais heureusement ces nouveaux papiers sont assez solides on peut bien les manipuler et décoller si il faut sans risquer de rien déchirer avant d''être sûre de la pose .C'est vrai c'est une bonne idée j'avais oublié les fausses moulures il faut que je regarde ça. ONE COAT PAINT exists. It costs a bit more, but it's worth the savings in time. Plus, it looks great and does not drip.

We are moving into our new house in W. Virginia in June/July. It has pink & blue plaid wallpaper in the kitchen. I can't wait to change it out. Maybe something floral? Maybe something very French?!?! Great job and you seem to be enjoying the process. Heather

The first moment I did see the wallpaper I thought: you painted it yourself. It looks like the wallpaper in your dollshouse, with the flowers and curls. Now I know the wallpaper is not handpainted, but it is beautiful. You did a great job, painting everything and even do the wallpaper. Doing it slow is a good thing. Everybody is always hurry, it had to be done yesterday instead of enjoy the proces. Have a nice weekend and I hope the weather is nice too.

Yes it's teh reason I chose it had all the details I like. You are absolutely right, it's the epidemy of our time... the pressure of our world and sometimes even family to go fast, to finish fast , to have everything completed fast really get on my nerves, as you ruin all the joy of the process this way. Thank you,it's also going to be a dining room and I want to make it as welcoming as possible as it only has one window. So it can be dark on rainy winter days. I'm working on making it a very inviting kitchen to receive my friends even with its flaws as a long narrow room .
