Today we are decorating the fireplace mantel and the trumeau in my apartment with some holly, decors inspired by the french XVIIIth century that I cherish so much and my handmade Christmas paper decor.

The fireplace looks beautiful and I love the candlelabras.(I don't know if that is English) I don't understand people who want everything NOW! Next year you also have Christmas, you can make a whole year new decorations. You cannot make everything in 1 month. You make beautiful things and it takes a lot of time. I'am not a paper person, I only made 1 sweet house of your first christmasworkshop. I love it and I really want to make more, after I made my fabric things. I enjoy every video and all the things you make. Wish you (and Clochette) a lovely winter time. ( I think Clochette loves the summer a little more)

Thank you Marjan yes they say candelabras too. This is a childish immature behaviour and Im sure they do that in many areas of their lifes. It's true, but the reality is among those who complain I know for sure they are not going to do anything , it's just the principle that they have paid so I owe them , at least that's what they wrote to me. it gets even better when you know they are professional artists who should developp and create their own artwork and artistic techniques instead of ....mine! but that's another story. I understand you because fabric is fascinating too , I'm going to play with fabric more for my sewing clothes projects I want to do when I have more time in a few weeks. Clochette who is sleeping next to me thank you and wish you a happy Christmas season to you and all your cats and animals (she doesn't like summer heat, and loves the living room radiator now :)

Love both the skater paintings, original but especially your rendition! How nice to have found a winter scene copy from that era and country!!! Boy, I do realize how labor intensive creating any social media is, esp the workshops!! But stating the fact, educates others who don't seem to realize that. I wish I could afford one. Thank you Melissa! My friends are very appreciative and share my tastes and interests so I think they do. My family has entirely opposite interests and tastes so they don't really understand my world but' it's fine. I've been told recently that if I continued like that I would live in "an old grandmother's house" with my old things, objects and furniture. But I'm perfectly happy in my grandmother's home :)) You know what, I'm so grateful to have this little community ,you included ,to share things I like and who appreciate what is shared here and have similar interests. Beautiful. My interest would be toward petite ornaments-if that’s an idea you could incorporate in the future. I love holly trees and have many here where I live. In fact, a holly inspired decoration for beginners would be magnificent. Merci beaucoup.

Thank you Deborah, yes she worried everytging would be given away or sold because most of the family didn't like her things and furnture and decors but I try to save as much as I can from her home as her objects are almost all my cup of tea. Its so unfortunate that people dont understand the time it takes to develop your workshops. I for one would rather have a christmas workshop thats a little late and get a halloween workshop too than lose halloween! You have so many workshops and so many non holiday workshops that can be repurposed for the holidays. There are too many resources available to justify that kind of behavior. Try not to let it upset you. It says everything about them one needs to know. Its not about you:) Your work is well worth the wait! That being said if you find yourself in a particular crunch one year maybe adding on to an existing workshop that shows how to repurpose one or two things could buy you some breathing room. For example you have many characters..maybe you could show how to turn them into elves..or how to change dollhouses into a santas village or turn marie antoinette into mrs claus with a change of wardrobe. Just a thought!

I’ve been catching up on your videos and had to stop and comment on this one in particular. It’s so rude that anyone would be impatient with you. As someone who has a small channel and knows the sheer amount of work that goes into producing video content let alone creating-from scratch-an entire new workshop it really is upsetting to hear that. Halloween you have waaaay more lead time than Xmas to get things done. I suggest telling these people to think about working on your workshops for the next holiday season instead. I think it’s smart of you to do a Christmas/winter workshop in January instead when it’s so slow and then they have all year to work on it for the upcoming holidays. That’s how magazines do it-they don’t throw Christmas together right after thanksgiving. What you see is from work from the years past Christmas or it’s produced off season in the spring/summer. I took your Halloween workshop 2 years ago and I’m m still not finished with it😊I know I can always go back to it on my own time because you graciously leave your workshops open once they have been paid for. Bless you for all of your beautiful content, your storytelling and everything you do. You should have a million subscribers! ❤
