@ilikemyrealname28 күн бұрын
@@pan.sushant Yup after 8 years I still use it. I love it. I have many of the attachments. I’ve made hundred of loaves of bread. I grind my own beef and chicken. I make ice cream. I make pasta for spaghetti and lasagna. And of course tons of cookies. Get the “Everdime” for it, prevents the head from rattling around.

Consider buying a pasta rack; hanging the pasta after it's made will insure it dries evenly and flat (better than lying the noodles on a tray), plus they won't stick together and you can get more noodles on a rack than you can fit in one layer on a tray (more than one layer crushes the pasta below and sticks). My grandmother used a rack and the back of the kitchen and dining room chairs (she'd put a towel down first). She had pasta hanging all over her house

+Irene Would clothes hangar work in place of a pasta rack? I'm cheap, and don't want to spend too much.
@Herabird18 жыл бұрын
+vee tour I think the plastic hangers would work quite well. Same idea really, plus you could hang them side by side on a shower rod. Wouldn't that look amazing? I would stay away from using metal hangers though.
@RenatusPhoenix197 жыл бұрын
I have. Just make sure you balance the pasta. A few strands on the left AND right or start in the middle. A lopsided hanger makes for a messy counter. I would hang the hanger on the Kitchen cabinet handle.

Is it possible to roll bread dough in the roller?
@sumbl1ss Жыл бұрын
probably, but bread dough is springy, this pasta dough looks really tough to start with, hence needing speed 1 until its softer.

Great demo.. all around. I just got my Kitchenaid and pasta attachments for Christmas. I'm excited. One thing I would like to see is storage. I hear you an cook them for 90 seconds then ice bath and store in plastic? Or just keep them raw?

The screw that holds the attachment on becomes loose while I’m trying to use the pasta rollers and before you know it, the entire attachment is in my hands and so is the dough. I screwed it in so tight, but that doesn’t work. Any suggestions?
@tbean21243 жыл бұрын
I would make sure you have a real kitchenaid attachment & not a counterfeit one. Apparently Amazon has had a problem with counterfeit ones being sold as the real deal. One of the tell tale signs of a counterfeit product is it being wobbly or not able to be sturdy & properly secured.

@Williams-Sonoma7 жыл бұрын
Hi Nadira: We're not too sure about this, but it'd be worth trying just to find out!
@ohdearnotanotherone40752 жыл бұрын
Probably not a good idea. Pastry dough is more fragile and less stretchy, and often contains sugar, which would cause a sticky mess and be difficult to clean.

Too expensive. Now I'm talking about the kitchenAid 5 piece deluxe set which makes thin sheets and cuts four types of noodles. There are electric pasta rollers and cutters out there for half the price. And if you don't mind turning a crank handle there are excellent pasta rollers and cutters out there for 1/4 the price.
