Kits Sounds on the Roland TD-9KX Electronic Drum Kit

I've had my kit for over two years now and play live with it a bunch. Added an 2 extra Cymbals and changed the Kick to an 85 (adjust the setting for an 85 as well). It's rugged and dependable. People love the sound and I have a least 4 kit sounds I use in my shows. Run it through a direct box before the Mixer and Wow. This is the best purchase I've ever made in music for the price. It's paid for itself over 10 times.

Holy shit! I had no idea electric drums were so advanced! This is incredible, I might just move into a really cheap flat or terrace house and buy one of these beauties. Kit number 36 was just like... Orgasmicly awesome. Great vid!

I got to have a blast on this kit yesterday. Extremely responsive. The most enjoyable electric drum kit I have played. I like how they made the snare and toms skin out of a mesh material so you get a better bounce off the sticks. If I were to rate this drum kit I would give it a 10/10 it is very responsive, great customization and the range of kits and rhythms you can play with are fantastic. It is quite pricey however. The RRP is over £2000. But it is well worth it for a kit like this.

A kick drum beater costs about 20 USD, and they last for ages.

Im about to believe that all roland workers are christians... The metal kits are the worts ever or the just simply skip them in all thir videos. I don´t mind too much that they put a lot of effort in building drum sounds for useless nintendo era music that is played in basements for practice and at roland contests only... but htey have to remember that normal musicians uses their drums too. Aleast a nice acoustic sound would be nice.

It all depends. I seen kits of the same go for different prices. You can get used drum kits. No one drum kit is the same. there tons. But, the most expensive ones will pay like real kits. Like some are one tone. meaning. you hit it. that's the tone you got. You can't do multi on a crash or cymbal that's the sad part of electronic drums
