Late night editing has been impossible while sick (and also with a sick baby). You should check out the Terra Moons single in Saturn's Rings. I wanted this palette for that color then I realized that I could the same look with that shadow. Their chameleon shadows are incredible.

Hmmm kinda I see 2 x 6 pan pallets when I look at this palette and admittedly my eye is drawn to the more neutral side. I agree that brown shade would've be much better as a deep plum colour...I think it's cool they are offering a different brown shade for people who have deeper skin tones though (never seen a brand do that before). I may still buy this because it's supporting an Aussie indie brand but it will depend when the next pre-sale is, the last ones were when I'm driving home after nightshift or asleep so I missed them. If nothing else they've got my strength attention and that's not easy to do in such a saturated market. Hope you are feeling better Kat... first looks I've seen with this palette that didn't make me think grimacy thoughts about my age 😂

I saw this when it launched and wanted it, but couldn't part with the $. So what I didn't was sit on the decision, evaluate my spending, didn't throw away my money on impulse buys from other launches, and saved up. Now I that the next pre-order is tomorrow, I think I'm ready to pay the $73 USD. Its not something I am able to dupe with my collection, which... This is really important and has prevented me from wasting a lot of money this year. Whenever there is a palette you want, test out the shades you already own first and see if it's something that's even special or if you just want it cuz it the new and the packaging is cool or whatever. Be honest. Anyway.... This is unique to my collection, and I also value and want to support indie brands. And I've saved up by being more conscious with my purchases. So I'm getting this. And I think I will enjoy it a lot more because I've had time to think about it.

I really balked at the price of this one, especially considering my days makeup free have increased considerably and I had a suspicion that it was not going to be flattering on my skin tone. Love the concept and I want to support an Aussie Indie brand. I am hoping they bring out a number 2 that demands my money :)

I've been tempted to try this brand & I pretty much buy only indie shadows but these colors as a whole don't really do it for me. I'd love if they did a locale theme - like Ayer's Rock and desert, maybe reefs and beaches, etc. I'm a lot more compelled to buy a smaller color range in a palette. Still this is such a cute idea with the shade names & it's quite pretty & you always find such creative ways to play with color. Great video!

I love glaminatrix formula and was looking forward to this palette well before they released it. I've missed out on the last 2 preorders. But the longer I am without it, the more I'm thinking I'll just pick up some other singles. Any blue in a palette is almost redundant as I've got enough blues in my collection to last me 5 lifetimes. I love the idea of an 8 pan palette! And lowering the price (but I'd pay the money if I knew I was going to use every shade consistently) I'm still very much on the fence with this one.

Sometimes waiting works out for the best. I've saved a lot of money by not impulsive buying and then finding out that palette I thought I HAD to have was just another palette with colors I already have.... There are some beautiful shades in this palette but I agree, you can probably grab a single or 2 and be just as happy and have more money left to boot.. I only have 2 eyes and my daughter's aren't into makeup so the makeup I have will last a million years 😆.

I love the colour story and the shimmers are stunning, but it's defo way too pricey for me. If it was easier available in Europe and more affordable I'd pick it up in a heartbeat. Amazing review as always, I still love this formula of creating multiple looks to really test the palette through and through. It's defo worth the wait!

The colours are meant to represent the colours and themes of Australia and Australian culture, there are enough sunset pallets on the market anyway :) but I can see the point you’re trying to make because the packaging does give off a sunset vibe!

I think it was a fair effort. I'm not a company trying to create product though. I would be interested if there was a palette which was based on our indigenous culture, and some proceeds would go to our indigenous community. Just a thought. I mean we got a lotta interesting things around the country as inspiration. I love Melbourne so much, if I made a palette I would have it based on coffee, autumn vibes. Oh no, it's another colourpop palette, nevermind. It's hard to do something unique these days when there's been 1000s of palettes at this point.

After your review I'm one hundred procent sure I don't need this palette. Don't get me wrong it is a beautiful palette and the theme is very well thoughtful but the colourstory is not for me and I probably wouldn't use it
