2&3 for me...there are lots of cats/kitten videos and channels on youtube but too many of them are seemingly made by people who aren't really aware or educated enough about things like the physiology and psychology of kittens and cats, usually unknowingly making not the best choices even if they mean well (everything from ppl being slight jerk to their cats, to cats who aren't spayed/neutered). With KittenLady's videos i KNOW not only am i in for cute kitties and some learning but i can be confident that she actually KNOWS cats and kittens and deliberately makes sure she does things that in their best interest.

when you see a kitten or a cat sleeping stretched like that belly up ...you just know that kitty, that cat, is so happy and content and comfortable and safe...I needed those images of perfectly happy, fantastic looking kittens more than I knew ...

I got a large pet brooder last year after 6 years of using snuggle safes and I definitely noticed a difference. Kittens just feel healthier, the closest I've seen to being milkfed. It is completely worth it if you can fundraise or afford it.

For my babies, I used a heating pad. I added in socks filled with rice. they soaked up the heat towards the bottom but gave them a cool spot to climb on as well if they got too hot on the blankets. that paired with a box, and I had a little dark incubator of sorts. It was always warmer in the box than outside and worked really well. Just got to be sure your heating pad doesnt go out on you.

Even with 14 years old you can do so much. You may be to young to foster, but you can always help out in your local shelter. They always appreciate any help they can get. Maybe work there once a month or bring them some food cans. Another thing you can do is help with the community cats. You can not just do a good deed, you can also learn a lot of things, so you are fully prepared when you are old enough to foster your own kittens! Don't be afraid to ask. Even if you work with adult cats, they also need your love and will appreciate your hard work

Too much cuteness. ❤ Thanks to your video about swimmers syndrome, I recognized it very fast in one kitten who wasn't able to put his feet under his belly as his littermates and was able to fix it fast. Being very young, he wasn't that much bothered by the tape. Your videos make a difference.

I used to take care of kittens because we never had our cats fixed (I was too young to change anything but old enough to take care of them) and they often abandoned their kittens and I SO could’ve used a incubator. We used to have them near a small fan heater with pretty much round the clock supervision. None of them were quite as young as the neonatal ones but it was usually dead of winter so they needed it.

Note to those interested in purchasing one of these incubators. The are MUCH cheaper to buy at Lifeline Pet Supplies than at Amazon. I have bought 3 for rescues over the past year from them - the large incubator is $1,050 with free shipping.
