It's all BS. They bought him a gas powered chainsaw. Where is he supposed to get the gas and 2 stroke oil and bar and chain oil from? If he could afford and have the petrol available, he'd already have a chainsaw. A used small 2 stroke chainsaw can probably be purchased for 5USD in Russia. They brought a solar panel!! Do they not realize where he is? The solar is useless 8 months out of the year. He is in the arctic circle!!!!!!! There are trees all around his house. It's going to be shaded most of the year, at least partially shaded.

Yeah... And it's a dark thought, but he's looking pretty old and frail. I doubt there will be anyone to care for him or his dogs in his final frail hours 😢 No one will notice his passing... and the dogs would be alone... I can't stand thinking about how alone he is. I hope someone will be there for him in the end. I want to stay up to date with his life, as long as this channel is willing to. So we know someone will occasionally visit...

Samuil reminds me of my grandpa, who lived as a shepherd in the Carpathian Mountains for 10 months of the year, alone with the sheep and woodland creatures and then, two months in the village during winter. My grandma would go there almost daily, 7 km from their village to bring food and necessities. He also had a radio and some magazines? I remember vividly my summer days spent there with him. He was the happiest living in his log little cabin in the mountains and couldn’t wait for the hard winter to be over so he could go again. He sadly died 5 years ago. May Samuil live a long, healthy live!

As difficult as it may sometimes be, it must be a peaceful existence, living like Samuil off the grid, with nothing but your wooden house and your books and the forest. Especially compared to how stressful and busy modern life can be. Mad respect for this guy's lifestyle.
@starlucanyaart Жыл бұрын
It's almost my way of life, because i'm alone since 11 years but i love it, because i could do anything i want. I'm a writer, a drawer, i could spend my time drawing, writing, and being in a peaceful ambiance (or sometimes jazz ambiance) with some coffee, without watching tv, and i have the feeling to have everything. I just miss a peaceful location like him, near nature, where i could go in the forest when i want. It's also my philosophy of life, so i completely understood that he feel complete this way. I think modern society completely miss the point of solitude : we could be alone without feeling alone, because the key is to be connected to yourself, instead to be connected to the society. As society is drawn by material things, noise, violence, superficiality, ego, money, apparence, competititivity.... That finally you gain much more by being by yourself, because you connect to what you really want or are. Society create a illusion about our needs and constantly create superficial needs and distractions for commercial reason. It's like youtube : many people follow some mediocrity channels and BELIEVE deeply they need it to exist, and became dependant of it, while it hold no intrinsical values. The only things we really need is the connection to ourself and with nature. It's so peaceful for the mind, and we don't free ourself by money or being able to buy, or have a free sexuality. We free ourself when we exactly don't need that to be happy. Sometimes, when you have nothing, you have and you are everything.

It was so interesting to follow Samuil's simple, but rich everyday life. Maybe we could learn something from his way of life, and I don't mean that everyone should now move to the wilderness, but that you don't necessarily need that much for a good life. The most important thing is to get along with yourself and be satisfied with what you happen to have. The only thing that made me a little sad was that Samuil hasn't found love, even though he seem to have such an pure and big heart. Many thanks also to the filming crew, who have done an excellent job in every way. Your good work will hardly go unrewarded.

When I have watched all the videos leading up to this video, It deeply touched me and reminded how I lived in such a poverish state with my family, while recalling all of the struggles. But knowing that he's been living like this for 20 years along by himself and hearing the words that my family have said before when it came to asking for some miracle to happen, it reminded of those tough days when I was child. I am so thankful that he has people caring for him and helping him, I hope that he will get company to visit him often to make up for his isolate life out there. I am glad that his life is changing in a good way from good people💛 I pray for his health and happiness, and may God be with you my dear brother🙏

These are such heartfelt and beautiful videos. Both from the perspective of you the videographer (and team) and of Samuil who seems peaceful and very appreciative of what you and your team do for him. I love these videos as well as your portraits of the individuals and families in Yakutia and the town. So loving and kind. The perfect antidote to a world gone mad. Thank you for the many loving messages that shine through your wonderful videos!

I’m really enjoying this series with Samuil and I especially love hearing his music. It seems he’s experienced great loss in his life and has a deep appreciation for life and nature itself. I would love to learn more about him and follow his journey in daily life. Samuil has shown me that simple things in life are enough to make us happy. Love from Canada❤

I’ve watched three videos so far and I’m totally fascinated with their life. Living in extreme winter for nine months of the year can’t be easy. It’s hard work and I love how the whole family works together just to get the daily tasks done. Please keep going showing us your lifestyle and your beautiful land. Greeting from Australia.

Samuil has loved all of you being there with him He looks so much happier and proud. Thank you all for everything you have done for him. He is an incredible man to have survived such terrible hardships. It appears that his young life was so full of tragedy that he felt living with his dogs was the best place for him. Now he is seeing that he too can bring joy to others just by sharing his life. I am so pleased you have helped him. I feel my life is better for watching his story and you all bringing it to us.

I know i have commented b4, but his ghost story really hit me. I totally believe in that, and a man who lives in the forest in thecoldest place is NOT gonna make that up. So facinating! 😮

Samuil looks a lot better and in good spirit from the first video since he received help. I am surprised how he survived all these years alone in this unforgiving forest. Extreme cold, difficulties in finding food and no nearby help if something goes wrong. He is amazing and have my respects.

His songs are the best part of every series. And your team has done a great act of kindness and humanity by providing him windows and solar panel. We are ALL brothers.

It touched my heart when he said that he didn't believe in God before but when he started praying to Jesus to give him foods when he runs out of food and he said it was working because God answered his prayers and also brought this wonderful men and people who helped him.😇

Samuil reminds me so much of my grandad. If he were born in Yakutia, I have no doubt that he would live a very similar lifestyle. Thank you so much for updating us on how he is doing, I'm so glad this community has been able to help him, he seems like such a lovely, sweet man and I have so much respect for all the hard work he has put in throughout his life and continues to today. I hope he feels loved by this community and the Yakutian community and that he continues to be cared for

His story is so inspiring. Imagine how much he knows about survival and living on the basics. Help him write a book! He could then meet even more of his financial needs.
