Manwich was/is always a quick, easy, cheap, go-to thing to make. Now I make my own sauces, Mushroom soup, burrito season, on ground meat, or BBQ sauce on left over chopped meat, chicken, pork, beef. Throw on some shredded cheese to make it more palatable and gooey.

They should try biscuits and gravy, if they haven't already. Halved American buttermilk biscuits [Pillsbury makes some, I'm sure], smothered in hot white gravy with browned ground/minced sausage (no idea if there's a sausage gravy in a can? probably. But freshly made is best). Eaten with a fork. Yum!

Should also try chili. Either freshly made southwest style chili, or else something like Nalley [cheap] or Stagg [slightly better] canned chili are pretty good. You can also mix something like chili into macaroni and cheese [Kraft boxed, or something freshly homemade] for Chili-mac. ^_^ [When done with Kraft boxed instant mac and a cheap can of Nalley meat chili, my friend and I just call it "slop." Looks terrible, probably nutritionally terrible, but tastes great and only takes like 5 minutes to make a pot.]

Kettle chips are a great side for Sloppy Joes. I have no idea what that drink is like though.

Manwich is my favorite meal. And yes, I put cheese on it. We eat it with tater tots, not crisps.

I was never a fan of Sloppy Joe's as a kid but we had them a lot. So much other better things!

Sloppy Joes are delicious! ^_^ But, apparently not everyone's cop o' tea... Which is fine.

There's no excuse for Manwich. Sloppy joe only takes about ten minutes, start to finish, to make properly (of which Manwich saves you maybe 2 minutes at most, because you still have to brown and drain the ground beef, warm up the sauce, get out the bread and cheese and pickles, etc.), and the homemade stuff actually tastes good.

No disrespect to ManWich, but Sloppy Joe's are better when you make your own sauce and drench the sandwich in the meat and sauce

Manwich is for the children not for adults but in America people have gotten lazy and don't cook sloppy joes them selves.
