My childhood league hero. Love this Dom well done. I was a little bit dissappointed when his son said that the NZ Film comminssion didnt support this documentary of a league and kiwi legend

He is a humble legend, but in his day he was an absolute animal on the footy field.

He is my favourite Kiwi league player. He was from an exceptional generation of Kiwi rugby league players that influenced NZ that we could beat the Kangaroos. We all owe them for what we have now. Absolute LEGEND!

I’m 62 and grew up around the Auckland league scene in Auckland, now live in Australia, I remember him playing for Oatahuhu in the 70s before he went to Aus

I remember an admired Mark Graham in the 80's

He is up there with Wally Lewis, and that's saying something. No other Kiwi league player comes to mind before Mark Graham. If you picked the greatest Kiwi side, he would be your first pick every time.

I would put Kurt Sorensen in the same frame as Mark Graham I'm a big Mark Graham fan but Kurt was so tough and explosive like Mark Graham and never left the field injured

Mark obviously has legend status at the Bears. Particularly enjoy footage of him in 81/82 at Nth Sydney. Also enjoyed his book (Mark My Words) that came out about 35 years ago.

Loved the warriors ad when he was coach. Pity the team couldn’t live up to his legend

Tough as nails! He was targeted throughout his career at Norths and the Kiwis ! The opposition went out to take him out and he gave as good as he got. I used to work in Brookvale Manly and used to cut through the oval when Manly were training as Lowe was the coach and Mark Graham would hold the tackle pads he was retired but had a physique on him and would be giving it to the Manly forwards, Bella, Robert’s etc . Tough dude and looks great for 79

More like 69, for me growing up he was the man , North Sydney Bears alongside The big 0 & Clayton Friend

This guy is the real deal. The Aussies would send out their star studded Winfield Cup sides with players like Lewis , Sterling, Kenny, Close,Meninga and Pearce. The Kiwis weren’t to bad themselves with players like Friend, Bell , Filipina, Luluai, Sorensen, Tamati and Kemble. Mark Graham was the best second rower in the world at the time. That’s how good he was and we probably didn’t appreciate him enough.

Well deserved GOAT of NZ League. One of my sports heroes growing up. Nice to see he’s fit healthy, well and enjoying retirement.
