In today's video, we're sharing a tour of our experience visiting Chamonix, France. This beautiful town is located at the base of Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in the Alps and Western Europe. Chamonix is nothing short of AMAZING! We would definitely return and highly recommend the Hotel Aiguille du Midi as a lovely place to stay. It's been family-owned and operated for five generations. I (KJ) didn't have a chance to film the restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel that is also beautiful, spacious, and has great views of the alps.
We hope you enjoy this peek into some magical sights, food, and activities that are available to you if you choose to visit Chamonix, France. We're definitely doing the paragliding on our next visit. If you're wondering about the difference between hang gliding and paragliding; hang gliding is when you are suspended, face-down underneath the hang glider, whereas paragliding you sit comfortably upright. Paragliding sounds like the way to go for us!!

I love Chamonix! Took my mother about 4 years ago and we just did lifts everyday to the top, went up to Aiguille du Midi and she was so brave she even went out on the glass bottom ledge LOL - I chickened out! It's such a lovely village.

When was it that you were there (I forgot)? The skiing children were amazing, weren't they? I became afraid of heights when I tried to learn how to ski. I was so scared going down. The food looked amazing. I loved that sun porch at your hotel! Are you going to France in June? How is your dad doing? Debby in Kansas

Hi Debby! We were there in February. Yes, we're going to Paris on June 11th. My Dad is doing okay. Thank you for asking ❤️. As for the skiing ⛷️ that's how I blew out my knee. Tore all the ligaments in a skiing tumble 😫 I'll send you an email update soon. I was thinking about you a lot today. I worked on your bracelet some more. All I have left is the final Clasp and it will be ready to go. Hoping to send it out before we leave to go back to France 🇫🇷
