Hi Kyle, I have watched your videos for years since your TED talk; you are awesome. I truly enjoy watching your clips as well as your advice. I am currently in my last year of nursing school and lemme tell you, the struggle is real. Anyway, I just wanted to send you a shout out and I love your hair. My hair is one of the most important parts of my life and currently the heat is destroying it; that I have noticed. Have fun and keep being you because you are in fact an inspiration!

Brian Karl the big question is, how can i still have my hair clean without washing ? since i do have a oilly hair i need to wash it 3 times a week
@Hakakuno7 жыл бұрын
fak1t that's the problem hun. shampoo strips your hair of its natural oils and your hair overproduces sebum to compensate for the lost oil. you keep needing shampoo bc shampoo causes your hair to dry out and get super oily.

Hey Kyle! I do the coconut oil for the teeth whitening. I make it into a paste with baking soda which will also help with getting those pearly whites. I personally have noticed a difference! I guess this little concoction also replaces having to use toothpaste, with the coconut oil being an antibacterial. If you wanna give it a try I use 8tsp coconut oil/ baking soda each!

I thought I would share a bit of knowledge about hair loss. My brother started losing his hair at 30, but he took after my dad's side, because hair loss on my mom's side doesn't match that from either, my maternal grandfather's side, or my maternal grandmother's side. My brothers hair loss closely matches that of my dad and grandpa.

In terms of shampooing, if I am an athlete working out for 2+ hours a day playing sports, would you recommend shampooing everyday because of the sweat that gets in my hair?

I've heard that advice about letting your scalp catch up enough that I can believe it. Maybe I should shampoo less. But here's the rub: I use styling products in my hair every day. Water alone is not enough to rinse out all of the product, right?
@nicholaszimmerman85497 жыл бұрын
If you don't shampoo often then I guess you'd use water soluble products? I'm trying to keep my hair drying to a minimum because my hair is very coarse. Any suggestions?

Hi Kyle! About the shampooing part, I have short hair and I tend to wash it everyday or every two days because I have a hard time making it look good unless I do. Is there any way to deal with this? Should I just wet it? Does wetting it without shampooing have the same effect as shampooing it? Thanks a lot :)
@brandonlocklear53297 жыл бұрын
Redemmaw dry shampoo?
@Redemmaw7 жыл бұрын
Brandon Locklear my hair doesn't get oily, it just gets messy, I have curly hair. Does dry shampoo work for this? Thanks for your reply though! :)
@klabeck10977 жыл бұрын
Redemmaw Hi, for me, not exactly the same as shampooing. My hair isn't as soft and slippery after a shampoo if that makes sense. I just wet it and style, usually without near as much product. I find it to have better texture and has more hold. I have thin hair, but a lot of it and the natural oils help my style/cut. I'm happier to run my fingers through my hair. With a fresh shampoo & all that product I don't dare touch it!

I am the first male in three generations to still have hair by 18, let alone 31...I'm starting to go bald from the front to the back and I'm only annoyed because I can see it...why couldn't I go bald from the back to the front? That said, I think I'm okay with how it's all playing out! Also, I totally do the no shampoo thing unless I've been sweating a lot lately...and my hair has so much body...and it's straighter than when I was fastidious about shampoo and conditioner every day!

Hey Kyle! I heard you mentioned Coconut oil whitens your teeth, I thought I'd do one better and tell you a story about my cousin getting rid of cavities! Long story short he went to the dentist and found out he had 10 cavities! So he heard of oil pulling which is swishing coconut oil for 30 minutes in your mouth. He did this diligently for one month, went back to the dentist and the doctor was FLOORED when he saw 6 out of 10 of his cavities were gone! Not only did the coconut oil get rid of the cavities, but actually reversed damage on my cousins teeth! Thought you'd be interested in that little tidbit. Love ya boo! 😘

My hair isn't straight, or curly, but it does have a limp wave to it. It's also unruly and does the opposite of how I want to style it (which is normally the disconnected pompadour style). On a budget with hairspray and hair conditioner, a blow dryer and a comb, what can I do?
