i’ve never been a Klay fan, personality wise, but always respected his game and his mental toughness to come back from back to back season ending injuries like that. he deserves all of that love and happy to see him still have the ability to play and be successful

What’s wrong with his personality? Too chill? You want fake bravado “swag” like half the ringless league has? Dance moves? 🥱

I would like to name: Steph & Buddy the: “GOMBAY PUNCH” it is the best Bahamian soda pop. Many Americans may not know that; Klay Thompson & “Buddy” Heild are Bahamians from the Bahamas that eats the “Conch”. There are some magic secret in the Bahamian Conch. Note: Klay’s father Mychel “Sweet Bells” Thompson. was one of the First International Player to be drafted #1 from the Bahamas he played for Minnesota Gophers, and picked by the Portland Trail Blazer. Klay Grandfather was the Great Coach Jack Ramsey. Buddy Heild is what I call a “Raw-Born-Bahamian” ask him about the “Conch Salad.” Buddy, Klay, Eric Gordon, DeAndra Ayton, Kia Jones all knows about the Conch. Ask them about the conch “BUBBY” that is where all the strength of the conch is. I believe it gives you good basket stamina and shooting vision. Magic, MJ, Shaq, LBJ were regulars in the Bahamas to try that Conch. Shaq got too much of the conch stamina.

The thing is the crowd is loving him because of what he did for them. But when you're picking who you want on your court, you don't care so much what they did for you, but what they're gonna do. And the pretty clear consensus was that Klay is now a bench-quality guy, if even that. Averaging 13 PPG playing 30 min/G. His career average BTW is 19.5 PPG & 32.6 min. So he's getting near starter minutes but putting up bench player stats. He's worth bench player money. So yeah, the fans are gonna cheer for his return, but would they cheer for him and want him for $50mil/3yrs? No. Try 1yr $6mil.

You know the organization did something wrong when the fans give a dude a reaction like that.
