Hi - thx for your review. 1) for sport riders, is this jacket flexible enough during all the position changes or is it real boardy and stiff? 2) How does it compare to the Rukka StretchAir Jacket ? similar price, does the Rukka have any advantages? 3) if you owned this jacket, would you replace the level 1 with level 2 back protector? they should have included that. 4) I live in hot/humid climate so most of my riding fits this jacket, but I want to use it as a 3 season outer shell jacket since I travel to mountains often. I would get my own internal wind/waterproof layer underneath and buy the jacket a little larger so I can scale up a bit on thermal clothing. Do you think this jacket can trim and adjust down for the summer? The klim sizing chart is a little strange. I usually wear a XL but klim sizing chart has me at Large?? Can you talk about the specific way this fits - it looks like it actually runs big?? Is it cut euro slim fit or is it adventure boxy style? thanks for your help

Hi, OK - here goes. 1) It's really flexible, and not boardy at all. 2) I've not worn that Rukka jacket, so really couldn't compare. Sorry. 3) If I asked myself that question, the answer would be yes. Regrets over choosing a lower level of protection are always more painful than then regrets over choosing a higher level. 4) Klim runs big for European riders and it's always worth coming down one size for ideal fit. I think you could happily run a windproof layer underneath if you did, and I'd suggest using the waterproof one over the top as it'll keep the jacket dry, and also mean fewer layers underneath. If you want a thicker warmth lining then I'd suggest going for your normal size in the Induction Pro as this will leave enough room. I didn't have the option to go down a size for this review, and I felt that I had enough room inside for a warmth liner. I hope that helps. Cheers, Tony

thanks kindly for your advice; one last question: when using the exterior side rainproof layer, can you use the hood and it be worn within the helmet? To cancel any water going down the neck. or do you use a balaclava that would block rain water.

I've personally never worn a hood inside a helmet as I don't like the restriction on movement around my neck, but I know people who do that and find it a good way of keeping rain out of the top of the jacket.

About a year late to the party, but does this or the regular Induction jacket have any kind of zip to connect up to trousers like the Rukka Forsair?

As of the time we reviewed this jacket it lacked any way of attaching it to jeans of any kind. Thanks for getting in touch. Cheers, Tony
