I thought I would test out this new sleeping pad that I bought and haven't gotten to use yet because of Covid-19 😉

Great review. I've been looking at those pads for a while. The reviews say they leak. Your review confirms it. Those things are pretty high priced and it looks like they are faulty most of the time. You shouldn't have to chase down leaks on those things right out of the box. I'll pass on them and stick to my issued ground pads and inflatable mats. Those have stood up to decades of use and abuse. Howdy Ray! Went back to the beginning to review the set-up: Walls of shelter to high off the ground, footprint not exactly matching, no additional storm lines, but that should not be an issue in this weather. I would have gone with it and seen no big problems. So now I need to know what happened. Maybe extra protection for the air mattress needed? But the floor should be well protecting it from intruding objects. Any Wildlife visiting? Cougars? Any goats? Any cats? Stay safe! Michael

Hey there Michael 🙋‍♂️ The shelter walls and ground cloth not matching up might be from me setting them up as 2 pieces and not as one 😉 The height of the rainfly is supposed to be off the ground a little bit for airflow, but I didn't shove the stakes all the way into the ground so it's a little higher than normal 😉 Your right...the ground cloth should protect it, plus it was on grass...what can be softer 😜 No sharp objects there 👍 And there were no visitors during the night either 😉 I think I know where the leak is at, even tho I haven't tested the pad yet....I think it's around one of the Valve assemblies 🤔 While I was turning one....the whole valve stem would spin 😳 Thanks for the kind comments Michael and thanks for watching too 👍 Take Care of yourself and you be safe out there guy 😊

Heyyy Dragon!! Well that sucks!!! I had assumed that your "grass problem" was from it bein cut and the dust from it, not just bein close to it!!! When you had said 2 coats of sealer stuff, I wondered if that was had affected you!!??Very glad you woke up in only 2 hours to go in and get meds!! Thats kinda scary Sir!! Damn!! Sorry you suffered! Dr.'s gotta solve that right quick!! Just curious, but if mat thingy has lifetime warranty, wouldnt they replace it?? Either way you should let them know to add you to the list of customers that got leaky ones please! Sqeaky wheels get the grease I was taught many moons ago!! Howdy John 🙋‍♂️ I guess just being close to it (as in laying down on it) counts too 😳 LOL I've used the sealer a total of 3 times with my bare hands and there wasn't any side effects I noticed, then or later 😉 I couldn't help but wake up...I was coughing so much 😳 LOL Like I said...I'm not going anywhere until this Covid surge calms down, even to the Dr's 😜....unless it's life or death issue, then I'll go 👍 I'm getting the required info together to contact Klymit & see about the warranty for it 👍 No Kitty allergies yet 😉 LOL Thanks for the kind comments John and thanks for watching too 👍 Take Care of yourself and you be safe out there guy 😊 PS. Hi, Ray! Nice tent you got, I was looking at getting a similar one. I got to save up my pennies first! Lol. I was amazed at the size of your sleeping bag! It's huge! I can identify about the grass, crushed grass makes me really sick, and I have trouble breathing! Mown grass, however, doesn't bother me.

Howdy Ra 👋 Thanks, it's a good tent for recce or stealth camping but it's not my favorite 😉 For just me out camping and not having to hike, my favorite is the 12 Survivors 2P tent I have 👍 I can at least sit up in it and it didn't break the bank to buy 😉 Yeah that sleeping bag is big....it's a oversized one, but man it's warm 😉 If I had a 2nd one I could zip them together and have a bag for 2 people to sleep in 👍 Apparently St Augustine in any form gets to me, that's why now when I mow I have to wear a commercial contractors mask, not having one on when I mowed is what made me sick for a few weeks 😳 Now I've got an inhaler, so I'm good to go...just incase something sneaks up on me 👍 Thanks for watching and thanks for taking the time to comment Ra 😉 Take Care of yourself out there guy 😊

I didn't notice anything out of order but my setup is completely different. The curse of inflatables will get you in the end (both ends if your not careful). :))
