Like how you used enough epoxy (better to mix it a bit more next time, very important) so many people put it on thin and then use too much pressure; over-clamp it. and keep that surface rough under the epoxy. Beautiful knife!

At my local knifemaking supply store. If you can't find that look for g10 or micarta thin liners, just about the same look and feel!

Why do you use a little support block when you bandsaw the bolsters?

It wasn't as thick as the wood so it would have been pulled down, possibly breaking the glue it was holding it in place. :)

It's brass round stock. Same diameter as holes. Used as pin and peened to secure bolster!
