Those are not things that are important in their case. When we say that? In case of Erik Lensherr. We say he is a Jew. And why it is so important? Thunder Ball (who wields a GIANT WRECKING BALL, not a tiny mace) is also supposed to be a genius in gamma radiation on par with Bruce Banner. He became a criminal because he needed to fund his research but didn't have the money. Bulldozer is a juggernaut like figure who can charge through things at 60 miles per hour (he's the one with the construction helmet instead of a really cool iconic helmet that covers his whole head) Piledriver is physically the strongest and most impervious of the group. Instead of this group we get small weak idiots trying to attack She-Hulk. The weapons themselves should have knocked her across the city if they were being comic accurate.

Like, look. What gets it for me is that we have seen it done better, multiple times, where the new 'hero' doesn't want to be what she is. Look at Sailor Moon, an anime and manga from decades ago. Tsukino Usagi did NOT want to be Sailor Moon, and she had to be. She was a crybaby who wanted out of it. But when it came down to the ones she loved possibly getting hurt, she rose to the occasion. Then there's Charmed. For the better part of at least the first few seasons, the women wanted their normal lives and were insistent that they wouldn't let these new powers destroy their lives. They did have to learn to embrace it, and eventually some of their back and forths on it did get a bit tedious, but....for a while it was successfully portrayed on finding that balance where they realized they just couldn't be entirely normal, but they had to try to strive to just be them. Then we have she hulk. I mean, I get it, I honestly don't think I would want a super power. "With great power comes great responsibility." We all know where that comes from. Would it be fun? At first, yea, but then it would become an obligation, no matter how you try to sugar coat it. But if it happened, I would have to learn to embrace it, and learn to control it. If they could have pulled this off, it would have been great, but nothing about the show makes her reluctance to be She-hulk redeemable.

The Wrecking Crew in the comics are legitimate villains. They actually do real damage, it's why fans like them. This was just embarrassing & turned them into a joke.

I have not watched this show, but those muggers after her blood might think she needs to be green before they sample her blood for it to work, or to be sure it works. How do they know the proper conditions they actually need? Just a point to consider. Still, A surprise attack would probably be more successful either way.

This is the worst representation of a law firm or how a trial is conducted that I've ever seen and Mom used to make me watch Ally McBeal with her.
@bhart33212 жыл бұрын
At least Ally Mcbeal had moments of actual humor. The court scenes were competently written as it was a David E Kelly show & wasn't his first or last legal show.

@@bhart3321 True. It was just the office stuff that used to drive me crazy as a huge Perry Mason fan. Where everything in the office was so proffesional. How hard would it have been to just consult one of Disney's multitude of lawyers on the legal stuff.

The fight scene isn't there to make sense. It's so women all over the world can live out a power fantasy about fighting off muggers while walking home alone. It's pointless, pandering, and exactly what you would expect from this self insert fanfic.

Let's not forget that She Hulk basically kills two of those guys at the end. Those guys are suppose to be The Wrecking Crew, a very strong B or C list group of villains. They are very poorly represented in this show and if they were their true selves they would give She Hulk some trouble.

Straw men are the only actual men; or indeed women, these people could actually argue against. As they fail to understand basic things like logic and narrative structure, they've got no chance in actual nuanced portrayal of men and women. indeed, little platoon raised the point that this show, and others like it have a very small audience, namely just the writer and her circle of friends with their professional, privileged complaints against mythical men.

also the 'skrulls' are shapeshifters...also heres a question after the fight why are none of them massively injured, i mean she smashed 2 guys heads together, threw them against a wall pretty hard, and threw one gu at least a few feet into the air(as well as forward) and he he l ands on his feet and legs and isnt even remotely hurt?, punches another guy...and it does not look like shes pulling her punches, and not one of them is dead or hospitalized?

Isn't stealing an identity/acting like someone else, illegal in most of the Western world? The shapeshifter could be in serious trouble in the real world.
