It’s first world problems. It also shows the mindset of the writers that words on a website are violence and terrorism. This is also how they see their critics, hateful people that want to harm people. They can’t be responsible for their actions so criticisms are attributed to less than human people. Since they’re not good then they don’t have to consider criticism. Why listen to istophobes that are probably the worst people ever? They can’t fathom that people love these characters and hate to see them changed into things or doing things they wouldn’t do. Identity politics keeps people with improper identity groups from offering criticism or even being capable of doing this character justice. What would a white man who has been a fan of the comic for years possibly know over any given woman? It’s the intersection of identity politics and a society that advocates superficial subjects and subjective emotions. It’s nothing but double standards. Don’t be she-hulk at my wedding then after a fight in the middle of the wedding we’re excited that she-hulk showed up. We show men as superficial and judgemental but she’s entirely superficial and judging the same men and ruled entirely by her emotions. A guy doing the exact same thing to two different women with the same weak, superficial lives ruled by emotion could be a creeper and borderline rapist or a cute guy based on how attractive they find him. Lawyers that had to work years to get there are assumed they got there because they’re men while she gets a job just because she’s she-hulk and skips over years of groundwork. Banner takes years to master his anger and witnesses deaths and tragedy but women do it better without struggle because cat-calling and mansplaining.

They seem to be taking an interesting approach to the Intelligencia from the comics. It opens up the potential for introducing a lot of different villains. As for the website, the only way I can see the articles having that many views is if 90% of the profiles are undercover FBI.

It’s like most things they do-they say they want equality and all their ways of going about it destroy any equality there was, they want to destroy sexism and racism and their policies and behavior encourage more than discourage it, they want to reduce crime but their policies make everyone less safe. It’s just the mentality overall. She may want to have a fulfilling relationship, but in order to have one, she’d have to not be self centered, and that’s something the writers won’t admit. It must be men’s fault.

You know what, you say that immortal dude is fucking up by killing himself instead of taking divorce, because that way he'd potentially loose everything, but honestly? In a way, writers showcased just how ridiculous alimonies/child support can be. After all, he dies, insurance/last will goes to her, it's one time deal. You keep him alive, you can keep bleeding him for ridiculous sums until there's nothing left. I recall a divorce court case from my country a way back when. Husband was a truck driver, and judge (woman, obviously) hit him with ridiculous sums - no way in fucking hell he was earning enough to cover it, and even if, there'd be not enough for him to pay for taxes/food/necessary expenses. He was crying, telling the judge he wouldn't manage to get all that. And Judge's response? "I don't care. Find a way". In a way, I daresay immortal dude is doing the right thing - taking a divorce would be catastrophical for him, meanwhile killing himself time and time again is simply far better option. And writers don't even realize it. Oblivious to their creation. Charming. Hilarious. You name it.

The problem with Intelligencia is that its actually (in the comics) a superpowered villanous group, let by various supervillains like M.O.D.O.K. and The Leader (who are both announced to appear in the MCU, M.O,.D.O.K. in Ant Man Quantummania, and The Leader (Dr. Steven Sterns from 2008 Hulk movie) in Captain America New World Order. So, if you look at it that way, Intelligencia has a vested interest in getting rid of superheroes. In the comics theyve done some crazy things like save the Earth from World War Hulk (who at that point went berserk and was trying to destroy the Earth) to creating the Beyonder via tachyeon rays and gamma radiation (in the rebooted Secret Wars arc of 2015). So theyre like evil guys but in their minds theyre the heroes. And so we know if the Leader is involved, he'd have a vested interest in securing She-Hulk's blood since he was so obsessed in Bruce's blood in the 2008 Hulk movie as he wanted to use it to create cures for various illnesses and what not and secure a Nobel Peace Prize and Bruce told him to burn down his lab (because he didnt want General Ross getting his hands on it and he said its unstable and dangerous) and the Blonsky forced Dr. Sterrn to put Bruce's blood in him via transfusion which turned him into the Abomination and also accidentally caused a drop of Bruce's blood to enter a head wound Blonsky caused on Stern's head (which we assume turned him into the Leader). Then, we should assume General Ross and SHIELD confiscated everything in Stern's lab at his university , including Bruce's blood samples and Dr. Stern was either arrested or fled and has been either imprisoned or in hiding ever since with a massive grudge. However, The way the show frames it, is as a dark web community board like 4Chan, or subreddit, so this means the majority of people on said board are just regular citizens who for some unexplained reaosn, hate She-Hulk and "female heroes" so much they want her dead despite her not even doing anything to warrant that yet, which in the timeline context of this show, takes place half a year to a year after Avengers Endgame where half the people on the planet let alone the universe, got snapped back into existence aftger being dead for 5 years due to said heroes saving the day, so they should be treated as superstars, no, Gods, not people they want dead lol Makes no sense.but the writers are misandrists ultra feminists who want to paint men in this show as 'all bad' so here we are.

I think I agreed with everything here. I also love the inclusion of the Lady. I think the Lady is a great co-commentator with Shad. Maybe especially for a show like She-Hulk. Something else I found weird about the show, and it might be shallow, but I still think it's immersion breaking: Mr Immortal is clearly a very handsome chap. So why were all his exes not around the same level of handsome/beautiful?

Anyone notice how out of proportion She-Hulk's hands are at 8:44 in the review? Her hands look like some sort of cartoon character drawing of Shrek's hands that have been flattened and put on her arms. I didn't notice that before this episode... probably because I'm not watching the series.

if i remember correctly banner during the car crash was wearing a device on his arm to prevent himself from becoming hulk, tho they still should have showed something during the fight, green veins like her attempted transformation 10 seconds later, or something. if it truely is purely voluntary transformation like they wanted us to believe at the start and there is no inner hulk to react, then yeah she dead. also, the floor breaking her teeth... this writing is terrible.

Titania came with the guy Jen was talking to, who's part of the group trying to get her blood. They're shit at foreshadowing, but their attempt was the message her paralegal left for her leading into the two of them talking. She's going to sleep with him and wake up in a cage or something. So Titania's associating with this group trying to kill she-hulk for, being a woman or something. Which doesn't make sense, because they would hate Titania as well. These guys can't write compelling motivations whatsoever.
@Fuchsfeuer2 жыл бұрын
i would like to ask if she-hulk even has a protective mechanism like hulk. Hulk is a different personality than Banner. Banner and Hulk explained and showed this themselves. As Banner said, HE (Hulk) stopped my suicide attempts. He just spat the bullet out, it wasn't banner as Hulk. She-Hulk has no other personality. She is always herself and she alone controls and decides when to transform. She made that very clear in the first episode. Here you can see that she hasn't changed. Not even subconsciously and since she's drunk and even failed the first attempt, she certainly couldn't transform. Does that mean she is also much much stronger in her human normal form and can hold out much much more, but that would also have to be a direct contradiction, because she quickly got very drunk and doesn't have the steadfastness when she's She-Hulk, or the series is just bad and none of the writers even thought about it for a second and 100% forgot their own rules in their show.

11:55 Mr Immortal if it's the comic book version does indeed die actually. He's fated along with Franklin Richards to be witness to the end of the universe in Marvel. Mr Immortal dies and then returns to life the context being that he actually goes to the Marvel equivalent of the afterlife before regenerating ergo medically he does die, legally since the precedent doesn't exist, but people can be declared dead whilst still leaving I'd imagine that if he was declared to be dead he'd be written off as legally dead as well which would put him in a legal limbo where he's obviously still alive, but the government and everything else treats him as dead. This would technically end legal contracts like a marriage, but it'd also create issues with his personal life that range far beyond making it 'convenient' to try to use this to get out of things. As for losing everything if he died, he could leave it to a trust he has access to, just need some legal hoops to jump through something like it's left to the ongoing preservation of the deceased, since that would also be him anything he spends cash on would fulfill that purpose. 30:25 They have already made the Hulk 'dying' inconstant with the rules of dying in regular, but in their defense some Gamma mutates do literally die Jen being one of them and they pass through the Green Door and resurrect in their body. As mentioned Bruce Banner has tried to kill himself by shooting himself in the head and Hulk comes out and spits out the bullet, so having that scene where Bruce Banner is dying because he was in regular form created the issue long before this episode for the inconsistency of gamma mutates dying in normal form. I'd argue the "How to kill She-Hulk" if they exist irl is an attempt at humor meaning how to get the show cancelled and they're twisting it to be misogynistic since Disney won't let the show go away for some reason. Statistically it's the worst show on Disney in terms of minutes watched, lower than Moon Knight even and that IP didn't have the backing behind the hero's popularity to push views up.
