Knipex Cobra XS is good but not great. That’s my opinion!

For someone looking for the smallest EDC pliers out there, the Knipex Cobra XS is the best you can ask for. The quality of this tool is hard to beat. They are a bit too small for my taste. I will be trying the 5" smooth jaw mini pliers.

They are called “water pliers” for a reason. They are most suitable for when you are wrenching on water connections like hose bibs, hoses, lawn sprinklers etc. They apply enough force but not too much to crush anything.

I have these and have carried them for years. Used them twice. Not a tool that you need for most applications. Especially for guys that always have tools around them.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels like these are hyped up by all the EDC guys.
