I understand every word, but can't speak it, as my grandmother spoke it fluenty. What a pleasure to watch in Yiddish!

Rukhl Schachter is so cute! Thanks for this show, I'm trying to learn yiddish, and I don't even know how to cook, but I already love this show!

Yiddish is a very interesting language. Most words are similar to standard german, but some are closer to regional german dialects. For exampe mushroom is shvemerl, similar to bavarian "Schwammerl", but unlike standard german ("Pilze").

What is going on with the translation? Ridiculous, senseless words over the real translation. Is this a joke, and an insult to the readers? Someone please fix this!!!!
