Wonderful tutorial, clear and concise, with excellent demonstration! Can't wait for my new hooks to arrive to get started! Thank you :D

I think it is useful to have a matching double ended needle with two hooks for the sleeve, with which you can crochet Tunisian in rounds. the first hook grabs the stitches & the other hook works them off. however, this useful technique requires one thread per hook. the ribbing/ trim was new for me - perfect and usefull for some of my next projects :) @Mode Bespoke thank you for all this tipps

Hi I love Tunisian crochet and have been waiting for a raglan sweater pattern, thank you. I will have a try at making this but I think I will add some stitches under the arm where you join the front to the back for ease of wear. 🙂

Thank you for this sweater video. I have been needing a sweater for awh now. Of course, this is because it's almost summer. I have to have a sweater for early morning walks near the water.

My pleasure! Yeah, it gets a bit chilly when you live near water. It’s the same here (or was up until just a few weeks ago), you walk out in shorts.... and a sweater

Awesome tutorial!! This pattern is totally beginner friendly! On the first video, the blue one, is it a different stitch on the neck? Maybe I missed the explanation...
@ModeBespoke Жыл бұрын
Thank you! 😊 It’s the same stitch as the sleeve cuff, only a little wider (so the chain will be a little longer).

How many centimeters would you reccomend to add to the back measurement on a cardigan in adult XL size? Is an inch enough?
@ModeBespoke3 жыл бұрын
🤔 I really don’t know. Do you have a garment or anything you can measure?

Is it possible to use the extended return stitch for your tunisian projects like this, as you recommended in a previous video, for garments? How would you adjust the size?
@ModeBespoke2 жыл бұрын
It is, but you’ll need to swatch and adjust your measurements accordingly.

Why did we move the stitch markers inside when making the first row? I made the yoke and now am onto this video for the rest of raglan, but just can't seem to understand why we shifted the stitch markers inside? Can't we simply move them up in the same stitch?
@ModeBespoke3 жыл бұрын
Sure, you can move them however is best for you. I sometimes need to move things a little differently so you can still see the stitching while I film.

In the chart for length child size is starting from 5 inches. I don’t understand this. For 18-24 months 10 inches so child size must be more than that. Could you please explain this.

Good question 🤔 Let me check it and get back to you. It’s possible I made a mistake.

The left side of my work seems longer than the right side (the end). Is this normal?
@ModeBespoke2 жыл бұрын
That sounds like a tension issue, so you’re loosening up the tension on that side of the fabric as you work. You can try a couple of things: 1. Tighten up your stitches a bit more on the left side as you cast on. 2. Pull on the hook a little after casting on groups of about 5-6 stitches to loosen in the stitches on the right. One way to check in the tension of your stitches is just to cast on a full row, then lay your fabric down on a flat surface and pull the hook away from the fabric (so it lays parallel to the last row of your fabric). Take a look at your hook and see if it tilts more towards one direction. Ideally, it should be parallel, but if it tilts, that tells you what side is tighter (the side closest to the fabric), and which side is looser. Keep it In mind as you stitch so you can adjust the tension as needed and that should help keep your stitches the same size, and by extension, creating a fabric that is the same length on both sides. Does that help? (I can’t always see replies to comments, so if you need additional assistance, email me. I’m always happy to help 😊)

@@ModeBespoke it was a tension issue!!! Ugh! Thank you for your help, I was able to fix it!

I'm currently onto my third try with this yoke :(. I keep putting the stitch markers on the wrong stitch because I can't identify what you call the long stitch. Is it possible to explain this more clearly?

I was having trouble with this as well. So each time I made a new long stitch I moved the stitch marker to the brand new stitch.
