Part 2 involves nothing dramatic. Just the little details that made it all come to life. And I finally knit a swatch, which helped me write a more accurate pattern right from the start.
Hopefully I was able to show you that you can unravel without fear!

oh nooo, don’t unravel it! have you tried double-knitting the button bands? they will flow in the direction you want, it will be seamless, and no flaring out.

I haven't tried double knitting button bands before. In fact, this is the first time hearing about it! Sounds very interesting. I'll look into it for my next project. Thanks for commenting! Hope you enjoyed the video :)

Oh, yarn barf! I hate that glob of yarn that comes out of a center pull skein. So irritating!

I'm sorry it didn't work out! On your next attempt, you might try what's called a modified drop shoulder construction to get rid of a lot of that extra fabric in the underarm. It was ALMOST a very lovely cardigan. I really enjoy how you show your process and everything you learn from redoing parts.

I've never heard of a modified drop shoulder construction. I'll have to look it up! Sounds very interesting to me :) Thanks for the suggestion and I'm glad you enjoyed watching!

Not sure if this was the issue with the yarn discoloration, but always check to make sure that all of your yarn is from the same dye lot. Yarn color can vary drastically between dye lots, even for supposedly the same colorway

Yes, I'll definitely do this next time. I find discolouration occurs most with wool yarn.. and I mainly knit with wool or natural fibers. Thanks for the suggestion!

If your balls of yarn don’t match but you still want to use them all together you could try to dye the cardigan in a shade close to what it is already, just to even it out

I've tried that in the past where I went from cream to grey. I found that it didn't even things out. Overall the piece came out grey, but the darker parts just became a darker grey, and vice versa for the lighter parts. I think it might be best to check the lot numbers. Thanks for the suggestion though! :)

Why do you use the circular needles instead of straight?

I find it easier to knit with. It's just my personal preference.
