KNIT TIME LAPSE Part 1 Knitting A Basic V neck Cardigan

A knit time lapse video of me knitting a basic v neck cardigan. I followed a tutorial for this but made adjustments according to my size, yarn weight, and preference.
I try to show my real, honest process when knitting. It involves a lot of unravelling, rethinking, testing, and trying on. Also, I decided to break down this project in (hopefully) two parts so I can post more frequently.

I've frogged many times making 2 at a time socks. At first I was frustrated and thought it was a lost cause and a waste of time, but I learned so much from doing that I was surprised. A wise knitter said it was part of the craft. So true. And at then end of a well done project there are no regrets.

I get stressed over the unravelling, I feel as if I don’t have enough time to finish projects for my granddaughter before she grows, so need to get it right the first time. I currently have a cable knit which I accidentally went right in a cable instead of left. Had to live with it and move on. I do admire your organic approach and would like to not use patterns as I find these tricky.

@@bibphil5078 Thanks for commenting. Of course unravelling depends on the individual and what they feel is important or worth the time and effort. I can understand why unravelling wouldn't be at your top priority when knitting. I think this is a great reminder that mistakes happen. It's not the end of the world, and you can move on from it :) A hand knitted piece is an amazing gift and I'm sure your granddaughter will absolutely cherish it!

ı have got so much to say. First I want to thank you. You taught me that it's ok to unreavel over and over so that I can reach the cardigan that I desired to do. I was really impatient when something went wrong about my project in this busy life. But then I saw your videos and really believed that I can achive my goal. Oh thank you! Yes, I tend to improvise as I go. This cardigan pattern however was from a tutorial. I made adjustments for my size so it's not exactly identical. Thanks so much for commenting :)
