You should absolutely use the highland yarn to make a granny stripe blanket and then just sew the flower down on it somewhere. I always love your episodes and especially your waffling, but I'm more of an enabler than a discourager.

Hi Kelly, love your Sorrel top the colour is gorgeous 😍. I’m considering doing the MKal but I’ve only ever attempted one before and that was the Twists & Turns and I gave up very early on in the first section 😬. I’m worried it will be to much for me and take up to much time and that I won’t like it because a lot of his stuff is just to outrageous for me. I’d have to really dig deep to find the right kind of yarn as well. I think that trying to convince myself to do it is probably a massive sign that I shouldn’t 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️. Praying that it all goes well for Terry 🙏 xx

@@sharonwiggill-yarns_the_wo2144 how about watching to see how the first (or more) weeks look before you decide? If you see the first week and think meh, then you know you haven't wasted your time and effort. The first week of twist and turns was utterly horrendous. One of the worst things I've ever had to knit. But it's not ALWAYS like that. They can be boring, or fiddly, or just utterly ridiculous, but sometimes they're fun. And the mystery aspect is great. Don't force yourself into it though. There's no race to the end, you can take your time. So look at at least the first week to see if it's for you first. And thank you for Terry's well wishes ❤️ Xx

Best intro ever ,was proper sniggering at that ! I’ve a friend who would definitely like those yarn markers so that’s her Christmas present sorted.Im sure you will have enjoyed yarndale I’ve not been for the last 2 years felt like it came to a natural end for me .I loved the north east wool show and Kendal wool gathering this year , felt a bit calmer and less pressured plus the tickets were cheaper ( more wool money !)

Totally agree about yarndale. As wonderful as it is to see everyone and catch up with lovely friends, I just find it so overwhelming. I'm still a bit tired from it and it's not cheap either. We want to try some different ones next year. I'm not sure where yet but we'll be at the north east wool show because it's on our doorstep. Hopefully I see you there next year! Xx

Thanks for sharing the giggles ! I loved it. Your mittens are lovely, maybe I should finally knit myself a pair... though I'm always afraid that knitted mittens will let too much wind through when cycling... O well, only one way to find out, I guess. That summer sorrel is wonderful ! I thought the darker blue on the top part was intentional, to be frank. So, if Terry doesn't like cool colours for summer, does that mean he only eats icecream during the winter ? Big ups to him, I hope the operation will be done soon and wish him a speedy recovery then. There is one thing, lately, no offense meant, it seems that there are more and more ads in the middle of your podcast ? I always sit out the ones at the start and the end, but the ones in between I always try to skip...

I'm so glad you liked the mittens. I'm still trying to sort them for release but the MKal has slowed me down. Maybe felted mittens might be the key for you with cycling? The summer sorrel was kind of intentional to have the darker blues on top, but only once I realised that skein has more blue in it than the others. It's worked out well. I don't know why Terry is thinking that 😂 he'll probably change his mind once it's finished. His op has gone well, thank you! He's home and recovering now. Oh I'm sorry about the ads. I do switch them on because it's how I make money from KZbin, but I don't have control over how many KZbin put into the episode. I know sometimes it goes overboard. I can only apologise. It's why it's a perk for my patreons to have the videos ad free. I have to try to make a living from this. But I do get that it can be annoying. Xx

@@josemuylaert3466 he's definitely on the mend but still in a lot of pain. Hopefully not for too much longer. No, I wish I could. There's a function that says it will help you control the ads, but when I click it, it's really difficult to make it work. I'm not sure how it's meant to do anything They've updated a lot recently, so I'll have another try of it before the next podcast. Xx
