The vlog turned out fabulous as well as informative. As I too live in the Fraser Valley, it was nice to see local yarn shops. Don’t despair, the editing process will get easier!

Thank you so much! It was definitely a treat to check out some of the yarn shops outside the valley -- since the two in Abbotsford closed over the past couple of years, it's been a bit more difficult to get out to the shops that are further away. I was so grateful to my younger sister for offering to drive to Valley Yarn and Black Sheep Yarns on LYS day lol! Editing this video together was definitely a long and tedious process, but like you said, it should get easier! I had to look up how to do certain types of edits, and now that I know how to do them, it should take less time in future videos to edit!

Thank you! I definitely recommend giving the Knitting For Olive Heavy Merino a try! There's such a huge selection of colours!! Now that I've finally put together my first vlog style video, I'm feeling more confident in doing more in the future 😄

Another great episode, and a new style for ya too with the talk over feature, loved it. Looks like you had a great time, I can't wait till the next episode (but I will lol) seeing the shops you visited was really nice, ty. And very good point, online images aren't always the same when seen in person, their hues, tones and vibrancy can certainly differ from real life. This was a lot of work for you I know, but definitely liked the video and you did great!

It was definitely quite the process to film all day one day, and then edit all of the footage down into a cohesive video the next day 😆 Thanks again for the heads up about Local Yarn Shop Day! The timing of everything just worked out so perfectly for the video! 😊

Those yarn shops look so cool! I wish I had a LYS close to me but they’re all 6+ hours away so I will continue to do my crazy online shopping 🥲😈 I loved this vlog so much and you did such a great job!!

I was so anxious about it lol 😆 Aw man, that's too bad that you don't have any nearby local yarn shops 😢 While online shopping opens so many possibilities, there's nothing like seeing the yarn in person before buying! Hopefully someday a yarn shop will open up closer to you!

Fun vlog! I was excited to see you are a "thrower" in your knitting style and you still get so much done. I'm a thrower too & I've just been doing it too long to change now. I also perked up when you mentioned Isabell Kraemer. By far one of my fav designers. Im currently knitting her Elah cardigan with Knit Picks Wool of the Andes. Would love to see you knit some of her stuff!

When I first learned how to knit, I tried continental but it just didn't work for me! When I started throwing it all clicked haha! I feel like I've definitely gotten pretty fast at it too! I'm really enjoying knitting thw Fjolla sweater by Isabell Kraemer and I definitely will be checking out more of her patterns! 😊

Oh yes! I do live in the Fraser Valley, but I was visiting my sister in Surrey that weekend! So we went to Valley Yarn first, and when they didn't have the other yarn we needed, we drove to Port Moody haha!

Once you get the hang of the list of edits you like doing to your videos it will become much faster! Once you find out how you like things it gets way easier!
