Dont bother with whiteout. It's the titanium dioxide pigment that keeps the metal from sticking. Use Killz spray paint, it costs a lot less.

Край лезвия выглядит словно не скован цельным, а значит хрупкий. Слои стали не сварены, внутри похоже пустоты будут.
@olegkhaustov479815 күн бұрын

I like that you didn't make another utube chef knife and I like the handle need to soak a little longer in the cloride but overall great blade.
@bernjwallace68772 ай бұрын
Really good knife. I think it would’ve looked even better if you soaked it in code to bring out the pattern more. Overall very nice knife though.

does anyone ever make a knife from all the cutoff's? even if it were a san mai so the center is just one metal and consistant,.. could be just about anything else for the outside layers...

@rexholdwr2254 Did you accidentally miss the knife coming out of the ferric chloride at 9:19, the quick scrub at 9:29, and 12:58-13:01 in his hand. Dude's not necessarily working ABS standards; I knocked a crap-tonne off with an angle grinder! If he's happy, I guess we need to be.

@nickzhaosun2 ай бұрын
Respectfully, you didn't forge a knife. You forged a billet and cut a knife out of that. Different skill set.
@pritampaswanyt2 ай бұрын
6:32 I know you're pro at your work, but can you not do that, that's dangerously terrifying. Your hand is quite close to the wheel. Use a small cutting wheel(4inch) so that you can attach the guard, or just make a guard for big cutting wheel like this. I Hope You Read My Comment Positively And Work Safely.
