The nice thing about being at war with the bandit factions is that they might send sentinels to come fight you. Your bandit girl isn't getting any younger.

I did a Lu Bu, this is TW! campaign not long ago, and found that cleaning northern China really makes the rest of the playthrough quite a breeze. Having your back secure makes the central plains easier to take. In any case, there is always the raze button to create a no-man's land for any settlements you do not want to take or defend. I found this pretty useful for the zero defeats achievement as well.

I don’t know if this would be a fun challenge but I wonder if it would be difficult to win a campaign if you accepted every diplomatic offer you received and couldn’t initiate diplomacy yourself.

@@overwelmingodds it would be because what would happen is that you would become someone’s vassal. Then almost have no way to get out of it because you can’t initiate diplomacy

I am doing the same playthrough after seeing you try this. My game: This is Total War, L/L, Records Mode Kong Rong...Turn 57, have the same territories as you. :P Best moment in the game. Hired Lady Mi after winning a battle, married and made Heir, and 3 month later a child....so I guess they were eloping before? lol It probably makes sense to hire bandits with shameless to increase post battle loot, with so many fights coming. Not that i have any passing up Zhou Tai..:P I went deep into the green tree; Azure Dragons, no red, and unlocked all the tax collections buildings thus far.

Real challenge…. Total war Shi Xie Can only use family members in armies, and to make it harder, no adoption whatsoever

It will just be slower, not necessarily harder…like it’s 80 turns per child. The game isn’t going to get harder as you defend during that time. And to have kids you need to marry so it will probably just be a bunch of bandit sentinel wives and husbands so it’s not going to be materially different

if you haven't already, can you do a spy focused campaign some time in the future. I never use or see the spy mechanic used extensively other then discrediting generals

I also believe that the event spawned Yellow Turban army needs to take and hold the city of Beihai for a few turns, if I remember correctly SeriousTrivia fought off the besieging army so the city was never taken

would be a nice combo with the poison arrow, but our one bandit general is probably going to be on solo poison volley duty for most of this game and I am not even sure I want to go that deep into the green reform tree so we definitely will not see this any time soon.

I think the unabbreviated name is Open Broadcaster Software but you should be able to find it just by googling OBS. It is just the recording software. Afterwards I edit it and then upload to KZbin.
