I use your words as a life raft while I learn to master swimming; though today, you have taught me the delicate art of flotation. For that, I sincerely thank you. The universe will surely recognize and reciprocate your selfless acts of service :)

A person has little control in life. The big things like a job, relationships, health, and marriage success is good exams of what you cannot really control. You cannt control a layoff, you cannot control a person loving you.

In times of violence, whether or not it occurs to you, can sometimes be in your control. Example: we don't jog in dangerous areas, alone, in the early hours in a sketchy neighborhood because we are more likely to become a victim. There are grey areas in life. I'm not saying your thinking doesn't have merit, I just don't believe it's entirely true, all the time. Our health is in our control, sometimes. If we eat nutritiously we are more likely to be healthy. So we therefore color our behavior as being good ,or bad ; eating good, for example. How can we be indifferent towards our own health expecting a good/bad outcome ,then behaving like you have no control over it , so why try? That our health is something we can be indifferent about. Many people are indifferent about it and shorten their lifespan as a result. So parts of your philosophy is flawed.
