Hi great insights. I have 9.6 years experience in Research and Consulting. I am planning to do an MBA full time program. Hi Nitin, Your profile fits in perfectly for consulting roles. If you are looking at US - you could consider Ross , UNC , Haas. In Europe with your experience INSEAD , LBS could be a good option.

I am a family business person, But my family business is very small, I want to do a proper MBA from ISB, my GMAT is 720 and experience is 9 years. how do I answer why not ISB family business program? In my defence, I was interested in a proper MBA in 2012, when i got admit to IMT, but i had to get into family business because of some reasons and forgo my mba dream back then.

Hi Chetan, Your goal need not be always getting into family business again. The reason why you want to do an MBA is because you are facing some bottlenecks at the current stage. Your short term goals can be more about experiencing other professional companies get the best practices and then get back to family business in the long term

Hi Rahul, Your GMAT score plays a crucial role along with your undergrad marks. You will be able to get admit in US B-Schools but you need to back your profile with a high GMAT score, SOP and a good round of personal interview!
